  1. Cheers, YOU HAVE TO FILM IT! your videos are always awesome
  2. Cheers Rob, its hard trying to keep up/find new angles for filming especially as Frank is putting out some pretty cool videos.
  3. Very nice set, really liking he saturation colour he used with the pics. Nice set and the one with the stem section at 90 degrees is sweet.
  4. I've been using Final Cut Pro x for the mac and i thought id quickly throw something together. Also the camera on the line i have built a rig for it as i found if you don't gravity and movement move it around too much. The shot at the start i fixed the camera to the tips of the crown with the bar mount. Cheers Ian [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=370hNNFl3qo]Life in Trees - Ian Flatters - YouTube[/ame]
  5. I was skeptical before i bought it but to be honest its production rate was phenomenal. You can stick large diameter bits in too i.e if it fits between the rails.
  6. Thats how we roll. I didn't even use grease for her, no messing straight in then when my truck was done we turned her around of James.
  7. A few from recent sites.
  8. Same here in Norfolk, although you have to be on the county councils contractor list. Although not all schools have that freedom. A large portion of schools have the grounds managed by a large firm called Norse who have a sub contract company who do the tree work for them.
  9. I really like the last picture.
  10. Awesome! I love using my dmm hub but theres so much on that video that hadn't even crossed my mind! Nice post Majestic and Cheers Taylor.
  11. Well found this little gem on tinerweb. Beats my attempts at fracture pruning/monolithing/spreading deadwood for bugs and beasties [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOAslpHEUBg&feature=related]Hazard Tree Blasting - YouTube[/ame]
  12. I found the most excellent dude. Reminded me a little of austin powers 60's style with the filter layer on.
  13. A few articles and stuff from this year. News from Lyon Equipment
  14. Action Cameras, Hunstanton watersports, Amazon there all kind of the same price really. You can get them from the states a little bit cheaper but you'll have to wait a little while for it to clear customs.
  15. Comes with it if you buy the helmet hero.
  16. Im doing something like this on the weekend. Customer wants the backs stripped out and height reduced. I tried explaining that it will cost more in the long run than me removing them now but they want them like that until they have the funds to get a fence done.
  17. The only downside with the drift is its lack of waterproofing, yes its classed as splash proof/ less than 5 minutes underwater proof. Battery life is the same in both as standard with the go pro battery add-on the go pro becomes 5hrs recording time. The biggest bonus is the drift comes with a screen but in all honesty i find i very rarely use the screen as i'll upload all the files that night and have a look through them then. There isn't much in it at all until you come to how secure the mountings are of which the go pro for me runs away with it no velcro like the drift, thread it through your vents and tighten up, job done.
  18. All mountings i normally need are supplied. Both are rated as the top two HD head cams. The only thing i'll say is bad is night filming although why would you want to do that.
  19. Nope, both can be mounted on the top of the hat or side. Very similar, the only real difference is the GoPro's heated battery system and the full underwater for long periods case.
  20. Build a stock up then invite firewood merchants to make you an offer for the lot.
  21. Really depends on where you look but you can get them both for under £300.
  22. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beQ9yChEcHw]"We're Both In Love With a Sexy Lady" - Flight of the Conchords - YouTube[/ame]
  23. The same:biggrin:
  24. Sherringham Park, Whitlingham Woods.
  25. Google your local woodturners. I had loads wanting monkey puzzle to make bowls and stuff.
