  1. I am wanting to put some decking up at home but with a curved edge. Any ideas how this is done?

  3. between me and groundsman weve had 4 still helmets. the ear defenders are pap compared to the sordin ones on my petzl one, also the dont like to stay on your head

  6. Steel sheets are really good but they get lots of condensation on the underside despite volume of airflow going through them. i have had this problem! not such an issue for us as they are keeping logs 99.9% dry. But if its for a workshop i would definitely buy the insulated ones

In a nutshell if you have room to get 1 in yes if not no! we find that its great for moving brash/logs carrying tackle round but 9 times out of 10 most garden gates are so narrow when youve got a decent load on it wont fit through tight bends or corners unless its cut up and stacked on the trolly you cant get round. the tyres that are on are pap i replaced ours with solid rubber ones as the others punctured easily. comes in handy defiantly, well built but they aint cheap

Plans just plan it in your head...we have nearly finished a huge pole barn with enclosed sides for a wagon and 2 other sheds for drying logs. telegraph poles, plywood sheets some decent timbers to span the roof insulated roof sheets for the roof and uninstalled ones for the sides. I cant work to a plan i like to wing it
  10. when drove a wagon and hiab on site i put myself through cscs so i could get a new job. before i went for the test id never been on site nor had any construction experience! but i passed anyway some of the questions were ridiculous
  11. now it says you cant just sit cscs for tree climbing/chainsaw card with cscs im gonna ring them tomorrow because the website takes you round in circles:sneaky2:
  12. i dont understand why on cscs if your a tree/vegetation clearance operative you can go through cscs but chainsaw/tree climbing you cant???

Im looking at doing some more training so to speak. was thinking about a cscs card for work on building sites i did have 1 years ago for an operative when i did building work but ive just looked on cscs and they are saying for tree climbing/chainsaw work i should turn to BALI is this the same as cscs?
  14. I agree, i tend to get frustrated and or bored when the weather is knocking us back just use it as time to get all those jobs done that you was going to to.
  15. Solid mounted on our old kwikchip! it rattled every bolt loose and sheared some engine mounts off twice! welded a plate on front and back its been ok now "touch wood"

  20. Who drives a 7.5t Mitsubishi that uses ad blue? im trying to work out roughly how much ad blue to fuel it uses

  24. Type c's for me unless its groundwork or aerial pruning with a hand saw. id rather sweat more and know my legs are a little bit safer
  25. Did mine the other day. thin disk on the angle grinder took me 5 mins tops easy peasy using a flat file by hand gets you nowhere just dont press on with the angle grinder
