5. How many saws can you get inside them.
6. I do believe you can get added infra red lights and windscreen wiper attachments for those cameras m8 for those midnight jobs.
7. Can you buy the white bars on their own for the trolley? ours have disappeared off the back of the van
8. A cracked link presents no additional risk to the user. However, the presence of such a crack requires immediate retirement of the ZIGZAG. Really So basically dont worry if it breaks in half because it will probably maybe still hold together while your suspended above the ground in a perils situation
9. what can i use to keep my SJ oriented correctly in my crab? the little rubber bit that came with it is no good... ive tried hose pipe but to no avail.
10. Thats a good point i overlooked the tree is right at the side of the drive which is just compacted stone/soil
11. Small leaved lime semi mature growing roadside a fair bit of die back in the crown. Last few years has been putting out less and less leaf a "a significant amount" could this be an indicator that the tree is on its way out? Or weather/soil related just a bad year? Tree is TPO'D so need to be on the money before i submit application! id say fell and replant due to the size condition and location of said tree
12. Snap i tried contacting them also on more than 1 occasion and they couldnt be arsed replying!
13. Why do you prefer being self employed over employed? Days like today are great, took a hedge out for a customer and got another 3 jobs out of it, also ended up erecting a fence where the hedge once stood that looks customer made us bacon sarnies for breakfast cold sarnies for dinner loads of chocolate biscuits endless pots of tea and to top it off gave us a £30 tip for working so hard in the rain. Having a good job recognized makes it all worth while
14. I reported 2 of his tractors 3 times last week! the only ones that were on at the time. ebay removed them them 15 mins later they were re listed under a different account and different location! W@n*ers
15. Out of curiosity how much did that cost??? Tipmaster quoted me £9950 + vat to convert a flatbed Fuso to an arb spec tipper
16. By the time you put a hiab on a 5.5t vehicle your payload would be pap.
17. You don't actually have to park it at your operators centre when not in use it can be kept somewhere like a pub car park or anywhere with ample parking. you need to get it in writing from the person who owns the land were you intend to keep it that they are giving you permission to park there. They do check that you are doing what your supposed to be doing also, so parking it roadside will end in tears.
18. As Andy said...driveway forget it unless you own a huge house with no neighbors. I looked at ivecos but as like you said they are the same size as a transit you cant get enough in them.
19. Even if you buy the vehicle theirs no guarantee that they will grant you the licence in the short term. I found having a suitable operators centre is essential before you submit an application. problem with doing it yourself "especially if you want it asap" is if you make a mistake or miss anything out on your application it has a knock on effect and will delay it even longer.
20. I pay £25 a week for just short of 1 acre. we have put our own sheds up, can tip as much chip/logs as we want and all the sweepings.hedge clippings go on a pile and we have a fire as and when.
21. Olmc Wakefield. I dealt with a lady called aimee rushby. Really knowledgeable and help full i gave them my details and basically they did the rest worth £300 when you don't have the time to fafd about yourself.
22.
Andy how much do you think it would cost just for materials to convert a flatbed 7.5t fuso to an arb spec tipper? Tool box behind cab etc...tip master quoted me...wait for it...£9950+vat Jeepers!

23. Ive just been granted an operators licence for a 7.5t vehicle. Took around 8 weeks to come through and cost me just short of £1200 £300 of which was paying a company to do it for me which i would definitely do again
24. It was done cheap though and to some people cheap is all that matters!!! Even if it looks like a turd when its done lol.
25. We all know what's right and wrong if your unsure or out of your depth don't do it! Its up to the operator with the saw in his or hers hand to say hey im i putting myself in an unsafe position. No amount of training can replace good old common sense!
