  1. haha heard about this earlier it sounds like he was joking around with someone of air just before he came on then it was accidently in his mind then it was out on the air. pretty amusing
  2. I love how people think because its advertise through internet and its from abroad its a scam!
  3. ? chainsaw gloves are more of a risk than protective equipment. I dont understnd why people where them.
  4. Simple we dont. Geting refreshed on training doesnt make stand you out from the crowd it just means you give an allready over payed sum of monney to a training college and then have to give it them aagain in 5 years time JUST so you dont look like a cowboy. If we spent our whole time trying to differentiate ourselves from cowboys then we wouldnt be making any monney we would jst be spending monney on useless things to differetiate and not earining a living!
  5. Thread and post of the year:thumbup1:
  6. and the faint scene I havent been wacthing it my bird just told me to wacth these on youtube then i found this thread [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuMhDwVsjDM]YouTube - Gillian McKeith "faints" live on I'm a Celeb[/ame]
  7. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqGGrO5hjy8]YouTube - ORIGINAL: Brett Domino's Gillian McKeith Song. ('I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' 2010)[/ame] Think this is the one kiplings is on about!
  8. So withoout 41 and 34 no one is professional??? And if you havent refreshed your tickets your no professional I cant remeber who said it but on another thread about refreshing why should proffesionals be made to retake a BASIC course? Its an insult. Theres plenty of blokes around who havent got lolerd kit who still do a professional job It maybe best practice but not best practice doesnt make you any less of a proffesional
  9. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pblSU5M1d1Y]YouTube - Squeeze - Cool for Cats - TOTP (with the dancing girls)[/ame]
  10. I know someone who does this during the summer holidays one day a week once a fortnight or something he loves it and the ocuncil pay him good monney to do it to.
  11. I got a fabia estate recently so not quite like the one your on about but I love its a such a nice car to drive ( I was comparing it to a 20 year old clio:thumbdown:)and ive heard lots of good reports, the police here in kent most of there fleet is skodas there basiclly just a volkswagen without the big price tag
  12. sorry cant make it either our xmas do same day I belive was looking forward to it
  13. about 3500 to parants due to car issues since i started driving, I got paid yesterday and today theres nowt left and im doing 6 days a week to try and put fuel in car... maybe its time to work the 7th day. still theres allways someone whos worse off
  14. Wow tommer what happened with that?
  15. I think the red boots are the biggest no no!
  16. I would stil get training ive got a mate who done his recentley. It doesnt matter if you can drive a trailer or not its like your driving test or chainsaw ticket anyone can do those things but doing it to an examiners point of view is a whole different thing. Im not doubting your ability to drive a trailer but its food for thought before you go ahead and spend monney on a test.
  17. Youve summed it up in your post schhllingsingsers are great built machines, which I highly rate and ive never heard any problems about. Ive never used a greenmech so I cant comment im affraid.
  18. The first post in this thread indicates he had done his cs31 that to me at college or not should say that he is capable of doing a leaning tree I belive its his mistake to make all be it a costly one if he had been stopped by a supervisor and told to do it the supervisors way he will just learn the supervisors way and I dont think that is what felling or anything in this industry is about we all learn our own ways. I think the 'blame' instead of being on the original poster then it should be on lantra for not teaching the different types of wood in its cs31 courses.
  19. only done pa1 pad 6 is next week the questoins are not avaliable before hand they dont release them but the instructor should go through some practice questoins before hand they differ but he will get the idea on the day. The questions are easy but you realy have to read them as they change one word and it changes the whole question and answer but its pretty easy
  20. Im not saying dont discus infact i tried to say the opposite it is good to discuss it but I think blaming the orignal poster and saying 'you should of wacthed him more or you should have stopped him on the back cut' is utterly ridiculous because it has happened now and the original poster has posted this and it is a good disucion point. there is more to discusing than blaming people and telling them how they should of done things better.
  21. I fail to see why jumping on the bandwagon at the orginal poster has any relevance? he was simply showing something that happened with a college lad at work, hes taking time out to post it and it is a good post because young and new lads will learn from this. Maybe his college should teach him more or maybe nptcs should have more to with what types are prone to barber chairs etc. And before anyone points out that this is a discusion website i relise that and im all for discusing as it has been I just fail to see why blaming the original poster or blaming anyone for that matter is neccasary.
  22. Though I agree with what you say in genral you do have to get em down but you've also got to be a bit sensible to what you do whats the point in runing up like a mad man doing something that you think will work and save time til you find out when your blokes falling out the tree. Though it sounds a good system Why over complicate something thats allready pretty simple and pretty quick?
  23. anyone staying in a b n b or anything? got any prices? where the nearest is etc?
  24. thats why I had my last username. techinically my username isnt my real name but its what my homies call me:001_smile:
