  1. 2009 and 2010- emplyed but by no means easy 2011- working all hours leading up to going self employed half way through good luck and happy new year to all!
  2. isnt someone making one for charity raffle?
  3. Even without trying/holding/seeing/touching the new husky I reckon it will blow the 020 out of the market. Husky have messed up on there top handle for many years and if they made another mistake they would lose out BIG time as it would take a few more years to improve it to get it beyound the 200t standerd. Husky wouldnt waste all this time (which = monney) just to release a half asses saw AGAIN! This will be the best top handle out there I reckon EDIT- I heard it was febuary it was out but not 100%
  4. kentissh ale that i helped pick the hops for
  5. I had this discusion before with some one. would definatley benifit on an 020 or on a domestic saw. I think and I could be corrected here but the pointed nose reduces power and no professional would like that.
  6. half day tommorow cleaning kit and workshop then pub for 12:thumbup:
  7. man up samuel:001_rolleyes: im 17 and my bird has never cooked anything in her life me and me ma share the cooking. get learning it may comie in useful one day:001_smile:
  8. we had a problem with an old ford. forget numbers. the filters were frozen solid so we just light a fire in an old oil drum took half the top and stood it next to it in half an hour she was fine. Some times in needs jump starting though.
  9. :lol::lol: I no that....
  10. wood theifs realy get my goat up!!!!! And its even worse when its just some average person walking by with a wheelbarrow load then says ' oh you dont mind do you? you have plenty of it here'.
  11. they do. no one listens though work isnt neccassary is it? but plenty of people do it. going to your local supermarket isnt neccasary is it? If people drove at sensible speeds then there would be no need to tell people to stay off roads
  12. stop moaning about moaning people:001_rolleyes:
  13. A 15 inch bar on a 346 xp its just that little bit extra bending down which i find just unneccasary with a 13 inch bar the saw looses no power with a bigger bar on.
  14. I wonder if in a hundred years time well be looked on as hard workers? and if the generation of foresters will think we were mad for doing what we do!
  15. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxmUKVrT0iI]YouTube - Kevin Bloody Wilson DILLIGAF[/ame]
  16. Wise choice a ive used a 250 with an 18 inch bar and its next to useless.
  17. maybe ive been misinformed but i thought that new regualtions with tanalising wood means that its doesnt mix well with norway spruce so it isnt used for fencing:confused1:
  18. Did think of that but didnt no if being softwood would have any effect. its something to consider. thanks
  19. What can norway spruce be used for timber wise? ranges from 6 inch up to 20+ inch. apprantley it cant be used in fencing as the tanalised stuff wont mix correctly or something similar? Is there any more uses than firewood and kindling? thanks:001_smile:
  20. are you employed or self employed?
  21. indeed post and rail is where the monney is in chesnut:thumbup1:
  22. Older chesnut twists in the bark so can be very difficult to split but younger stuff splits fine mate. traditional fencing is made out of chesnut coppice and alot of its cleaved by hand so it has to split well:001_smile:
  23. Was felling 20+inch norway spruces (with a ms 230 I will add:biggrin:) got saw stuck on a 16 foot length about 23 inch-ish big so went to butt to lift up to realase saw and it rolled on to my left hand trapping my 2 fingers:blushing: Tried lifting myself out couldnt lift, hurt back had to scream at a mate to get me out had to cut 2 foot away from the but. I just looked at my mangled fingers and thought oh well its broken, carry on, there was a massive dent in my index finger. pain went about half hour after:thumbup:
  24. hope you get better son mate. My dads broken his arm and his wrist by walking out in his garden last week stilll touch and go weather he has to have it pinned. Worst of all its his only grandsons 1st birthday this weekend and he cant go because he cant drive or travel far because of pain.
  25. good kindling burns realy hot proberly one of the best firewoods but the only problem it spits a fair bit.
