  1. it looks like the wires are holding it up to me, if so best get a MEWP in on the driveway, after getting the power switched off.
  2. i have used these guys loads, they can deliver to site too if you need. Rodgers Plant Hire
  3. but the tw190 doesn't struggle with anything:thumbup:
  4. i always use a blakes and prefer it to all them modern 'bootlaces' folk climb on. it does need dressing properly though, i'm bad for overdressing and getting stuck as its too tight. if someone has bombed out of the canopy and glazed the rope then it will need to be tight to get enough bite.
  5. i have another saw in the shed to kill if your bored lee? its red not orange:thumbup:
  6. you know it makes sense mate:thumbup: YouTube - armchairarborist's Channel
  7. got a call from my mate two weeks ago, would i cut a tree down for his dad before he killed himself with a chainsaw up the scaffolding.. lasttime he had a go at tree work a girl holding the rope had two fingers mangled while he slid down the tree minus his glasses! spot the scaffolding in pic's-1,2&3
  8. thanks mate, got them fitted already, could have done with some bits but just fitted loads of new bits for MOT so it should be ok for a while (fingers crossed)
  9. mrs works for the police, one guy in her office told her they can break a lamp on landys which can (with the right lamp) cause a break in the alarm circuit so next time you lock up the alarm won't set properly or something..and they nick it without the worry of the alarm.(sounds like a load of tosh to me) hope they don't return tonight as its MOT day tomorrow haha:thumbup:
  10. mrs left the disco parked in town and someone has nicked the rear bumper mounted tail lamp holders/bulbs and cut the wires, also smashing the n/s front indicator lamp:thumbdown: i went to buy replacements at local landy garage and the couple in front of me in the parts dept had been relieved of their disco2 bumper mounted lamps including circuit boards. wonder if they will try nicking the new ones too?
  11. nice one mate, let me know when you get up there, i live in Yorkshire but spend a lot of time up there bashing trees and playing with landys etc. Ed:thumbup1:
  12. anyone know how much fits on an artic e.g. stobarts etc? i have a 600metre long x 6m high x3m wide leylandii hedge to remove later this year and a huge artic would be just the job to chip the lot into. decent access too, is it feasable? i'm not interested in making money from the chip.. just want rid of it.
  13. all terrains are advertised as 80%road/20%offroad, what happens if that 20%offroad driving is through a boggy field/woodland with a loaded trailer? get the muds if you can afford them, trust me.. i'm a super expert at getting stuck:thumbup:
  14. i went on flickr...typed in 'log'...and found it on the 3rd page..cool eh? you didn't think i did it did you? (them security fences are pretty weak though)

  15. about £15 plus delivery on ebay. could only find some from USA with £8/£15 delivery, but probably cheaper from local stihl dealer
  16. looks very handy:thumbup1:. a quick sharpen and it might cut the logs too:biggrin:
  17. we recycled one with the chipper a couple of weeks ago, no idea how it got into the hopper but found it in with the chip in mangled pieces, mashed chipper blades too:blushing:
  18. so good you said it twice! had a lucky weekend?
  19. does it come with the flagstone to keep it level? and the feature moss? £60 without the flagstone but with the moss.
  20. yer its 07747022678, but no more kisses at the end of the message u batty boy, did you ring me earlier pretending to be indian?

  21. had to watch it twice as i got distracted watching the clouds go by, strangely i have a school report that says something very similar:thumbup:. nicely done:thumbup1:
  22. pm me your password and i'll change it to something that you will never guess. or maybe i'll just abuse the power of having a spare profile:thumbup:
