  1. maybe wood stogies causing the damage there is a lot of them about now
  2. you might be able to bodge something up using a bottle jack to get them out if you are lucky the bearing specialist might have a puller/press in there shop
  3. what about all the webcams that are about as a lot of them are on business premises do they have to pay
  4. some of the first earlies will be about ready now some verity's will not be ready till the end of next month all that cold weather in April put things back a couple of weeks and not all first earlies flower

  9. stop pruning the dead stuf off as the council inspector will only look at it and think its ok i have no faith in them as they do not know the points of the compass they looked at the wrong end of the street i informed them of a problem and still have not done anything about it 3 years later
  10. the fungi is a bit concerning was the compost out of a bag or in bulk from somewhere it might be worth taking it back out and inspect the roots carefully and then placing it in a pot then sterilizing the raised bed with a good drenching of jays fluid once a week for a month then leave it a month before planting again
  11. is there any signs of insect damage or they could have been vine weevils in the pots when you have transferred them to the final planting position

  13. have you looked at Thorpe trees to see if they have any

  25. reading this topic got me thinking that something has got my forearms i thought it was sunburn as i have been cutting hedges for 3 days last week privet Hawthorne beech and a bit of sycamore and other weed rubbish nixed in
