  1. I've been demolishing those boxes of chocolate chip shortbreads recently. Even better with chocolate spread on! I'll be going to the haddock one this week hopefully!
  2. move? i wouldnt do much more than a reduction to reduce the lever arm, the reduced windsail would at least help the tree to stabilise the union, unlikely that it will completely occlude it but all we can do is help it.
  3. even though its computer generated, its oddly hypnotizing
  4. not much, just leave it and learn!
  5. ha ha ha, big old girl! made me chuckle that did! good vids and shots pete
  6. If there is considerable retrenching on the stem and inner crown areas, I don't see why a pollard wouldn't work.
  7. I'm pretty sure it's not china! The huskys I've used have made in Sweden on them!

  10. The cross on your speakers is usually just a failure to boot up sound drivers. Happens most common on laptops. Reboot and it's sorted. Compressors work well for blowing dust out from round heatsink fins too.

  20. dropped grade and walled in from the driveway, then a house built next to them taking with them the other half of the roots. they dont look happy.
  21. i aint chicken! been pondering this one a little bit! my thoughts are the 3rd from last there looks like buckling on the lowest area of the stem, it doesnt continue to ground level. Would that buckling be caused by a long term laetiporus colonisation? really got me thinking that! i still feel theres more to it than meets the eye! Mainly because the basal swelling on the oak with the cavity in makes me think adaptation to hollowing.
  22. Harris hawk being flown over our fields. 7 months old. Nice bird!
