is that jiggling even necessary, i would have got the breadknife, would have been quicker! he had half the safety gear, ear defenders, gloves, didnt quite see glasses, and boots, but no saw pants and he was kneeling right next to it. The saw was that dull anyway i think he would have been tickled to death anyway!
  9. wow, thats a fair old knock, it is a fair sized wagon though. This is not just any fracture pruning, this is M&S precision impact fracture pruning!
  10. I would look for problems in the canopy such as die back or rotten parts of the stem. Tap them with a stick or the back of a silky. For the pics. Instead of uploading them and using the img tags. Use the uploader provided below the text box when you make a post. Resizes them to a convenient size
  11. If steven hawking falls ill, do we take him to A&E or PC World?
  12. arbtalk resizes photos no matter what their size unless they are smaller than the maximum allowed. heres what ive got so far, 10 minute job. Somehow managed to erase the left spur and part of the pole, but its not hard to redo this.
  13. ian can you get the full size pic on here, ill have a go, its better with a larger picture
  14. i would be concerned for basal decay personally, you cant tell how far down the decay goes or how much bark could be included in those unions, if the unions had enough included bark by the time it was removed then it may be less of a concern because the decay was already compartmentalised? could the wound not be covered of filled with something like expanding foam?
  15. 41! That's a whole 21 years older than myself! Not that I'm trying to make you feel old. Oh not at all Happy birthday Dave. Enjoy the celebrations!

  20. The bug eyes are apparently well rated I think. So they are probably your best bet. Or jut type safety glasses into eBay for some cool shades!
  21. i couldnt fathom a guess for how much it is, as it isnt really mine! haha considering the chair is mine anyway, that seems like an unfair swap!
  22. its extremely lightweight ed! its wedged on the wheelarches and for the tilt its got a couple of pieces of wood underneath so it will allow the lid to open and sit against the cab without needing to be held up. ive got another one of those chests lying around, its 55" wide 20" tall and 24" deep
  23. We buy glyph at £40 per 5 litres. It used to be a lot less but in recent years the price has rocketed. You could try ALS amenity land services or rigby Taylor. Both are good companies and we hav had a lot of dealings with them over the last 15 -20 years.
  24. heres an update, plus a photo of the interior!
