  2. cheers for clearing that up justin, and your right about the scars!
  3. not wanting to pee on anyones parade but.... i'd be a little concerned about the use of bungee material as opposed to a static strop. the idea of a razor sharp silky pinging back across my ropes or hands or any other part of my body doesnt fill me with confidence. can you ease my concerns?

felco offer a number of different models, the best one for you will be the ones that best suit your needs. they take into acount different hand types/sizes, lefthand/righthand, what youre cutting and what size, strength of user etc etc. look on their website you will get the idea. also they offer replacable parts for, i think, all models. blades, screws, springs, clips etc etc. though looked after properly you will probably never need replacements.

  20. stuck my ropes in the machine today, put them in a pillow case and tied the top. washed them on a 40 with no soap just water, seemed to come out well and they retained that 'just come out the tree' smell. washing machine seemed to fair ok, didnt shake much. now to try and clean my fluffy lid, should be able to strip most of that.... its a stein. any suggestions for getting blood off boots?
  21. i think its gonna be hard work in the bath so i might take a chance with the machine. cheers for the input fellas.
