  1. Cheers, how would I go about freeing it off?
  2. Hello all I have a problem with my transit tipper. It was sat on the drive for a month and a half over Christmas without being started. I started it yesterday, which it did fine to my surprise, but the battery light stayed on. I took it for a spin to top the battery up but the light didn't go out. I used the van today and it started fine, but on the way back to the yard after work the lights all went real dim, indicators stopped and speedo wasn't working. I dropped the chipper off and then it wouldn't start, got it jump started and just made it home. I'm thinking that the battery is fine because it started after the long break, but then using it yesterday and today was to much because the alternator wasn't recharging? Do you think just need a new alternator, or a battery as well?
  3. Cool. To be honest, if there was as much difference as there was when I just drilled a hole in my ms150 exhaust, then I'd be happy!
  4. Nice one, that looks good! Probably more go than a standard 660?
  5. Hello spud, how much difference does it make to a 390xp when you tune it? Does it give it more torque?
  6. Ah I see, learn something new every day!
  7. Poison ivy and tachyon?
  8. Poison ivy is floppy like the tachyon I have I think, hopefully blue tongue is a tad stiffer!?
  9. Could you post what you think to the tending please?
  10. I thought blue tongue was meant to tend the best? My tachyon is rubbish through it but my kernmaster tends a treat, just a little long to be using all the time.
  11. I was thinking of similar but using hydraulics instead of electric, maybe fashion something out of parts from the tracked version!?
  12. Cool, yeah that's a good saving 👍
  13. How much was it to get the rad done?

That first one looks great, what model is it? A friend had a demo of the 50cc ground saw, he said it was a right beast, loads of torque compared to a 550 👍

It was the hedge trimmers. Maybe jones's price isn't a good one to go by because they are cheap, but for some reason I had it in my head that dolmar was a saving over stihl?

The price certainly wouldn't want to go up, I notice that some of the machines are already a little dearer than what the equivalent stihl can be bought for.

Do you think there will be a price change with the name change?
  18. Some of those look like they could be Banksy's art!
  19. The only time I've ever cut any ppe with a saw is when trying to log up small diameter logs with a back handle saw.
  20. Defo get it, it's a bargain!

Cheers chap, I'll keep my eye on here to hear which one it is and how much yeah?

Is there a hedge trimmer that's similar to the stihl HS82?
  23. Will do squire 💦
  24. That last bit of advice is very well said Tommy 👍
  25. A friend has recently got one of those helmets. His has the fine mesh which is great for keeping out fine sawdust, but when it rains the rain sticks to the front and he can't see properly out of it, have you found this Paul? I was thinking that maybe a spray with WD40 may help repel the rain?
