  1. Does that electric not bother you dude? Does the timber stay yellow or does if fade quickly? Nicely done, and cracking mj impression at the end, shamoan!
  2. The bits that are soft will stay that way but the rest will be fine. I milled one the same as that and the boards are still sound two years later.
  3. That's a beauty!! Well worth trying to protect it and a good idea about planting some nasty stuff around it.
  4. Sound like you're going about everything the right way. As soon as you get your foot in the door I'm sure thing will really take off. When I started I send a cv and cover letter to a load of firms in my area and stated on it that I'd give them a ring in a week for a chat. That got me a day with a few and then I just bust a gut constantly for them. Work hard and be happy and polite and you'll more than likely be asked back👍
  5. It's mad you're finding it hard to find someone Al, there used to always be loads looking for work on here!
  6. Does that do vacuum and pressure?
  7. Your links hasn't come through correctly! I'm thinking of getting one too so I'll be interested in the answers. I see on eBay you can get a brake bleeding kit for around £20 and heard you can use these for testing?
  8. I'm the same so could you post the result when you find out please?

    Tw125ph

A mate uses one with the double roller, it's a great machine but quite slow compared to a 150. What it lacks in speed though it makes up for by being so light and easy to push around.
  10. Mark at Skyland sorted mine out for my 390, give them a ring they're great to deal with.
  11. The mystical first diaphragm kit has appeared Barrie, it was due to not enough postage. Not sure why it took them so long to tell me about it!
  12. I knew a bloke that had a lwb one, the chip box was huge and it used to get filled to the brim. It would still make it up hills with ease!
  13. Hiya When you brought out the tw230 there was talk of a greaseable bearing kit being made for the tw150. Do you know if this is going to happen?
  14. Hiya Barrie, yes the diaphragms came yesterday, thank you very much for that. I would have let you know yesterday but I got hit on the eyeball by a lump off wood so was having trouble seeing and ended sat in the dark with eyes shut all evening. I'll let you know if the first one ever arrives, and if you can't claim from the post office I'll pay for it anyway, would hate to think you're loosing out for something that wasn't your fault. For others reading this, I had fantastic service from Gardenkit and I would highly recommend him 👍
  15. Paul Sellers has a good series of videos on YouTube about making a workbench which shows gluing the top up, well worth watching.
  16. Get some volcano hitch cord from treekit to go with it, totally transformed mine.
  17. That'd be great, thank you very much 👍
  18. When I've done it on saws before it's not seemed to cause a flat spot, they've gone from running badly, to little beasts again. This saw ran badly before the bodge, and is exactly the same after. The diaphragms did look old so I'll stick a carb kit in and see if that cures it. Have you a link to where I can buy one or should I just ring jones's?
  19. Thanks for that gardenkit. I'll check the hole in the plate to see if it's blocked. The diaphragm does seems very floppy so I'll try replacing that before I get a new carb. Do you sell the carb kits?
  20. I did the blanking off which has worked on others I've done. The way it runs isn't as if the pump was amiss, just thought I'd cover that base. Cheers though 👍
  21. The Welch plug looks fine I think. What's a check valve and is the pumping diaphragm the black one behind the plate with the four screws, that one looks ok, has no holes but not sure if it's working as it should?
  22. No it doesn't idle. It sounds like a flooded saw just after you've got it going, real rough and won't rev. I've don't the accelerator pump mod so that's fine. What would make it get to much fuel?
  23. Hiya Thanks for that. I've just swapped carbs with one I know runs fine and it makes this one run fine. The h screw is set on the limit stop so that's ok. I've just taken the plate with the four screws off the carb, is that diaphragm meant to be one piece or two?
