  1. That's good to hear 👍
  2. Cool! It does look like an awesome thing, be great to hear what you think when you get yours.
  3. We'd need a CE Stamp don't we? I'm on the Bdb and have to leave it out of my kit come loler time. I thought that maybe as its been through proper testing and a recognised company are making it that it may get the CE mark?
  4. Is there a chance this one might be lolerable?
  5. I saw a program about sleep and it said that if you're only getting 6 hours a night, then after a few days you'll be functioning the same as someone who's been awake for 48 hours. The danger is you don't realise it's so bad. Try some meditation, downloading the headspace app is a good way to start. I bet you'll notice a big difference after a couple of weeks.
  6. That's jolly kind of you Al
  7. Those bags disintegrate in the sun quite quickly so I'd get some shade on them, otherwise you might be rebagging come September 👍
  8. Cheers Joe, I may get some in the future from nod then. I spent a while reminding a mate that the orange and blue tach was the one to get, and then went and ordered green and blue for myself, duh!!
  9. Can you get them with a spliced eye?
  10. I don't think it's the pump on a 150, mine was real bad from the day I got it so took it back to the shop but that didn't make any difference. It got hit by a falling tree one day so I had to get a new body, handle and what not, after that it oiled a treat. As it still had the original pump it makes me think there was a slight blockage between it and the filter in the tank. Maybe try blowing it out and then run some rapeseed oil for a few days to see how it goes, it's far thinner.
  11. Saw that one the other day. He did well getting it all done in a day with all the wires and whatnot 👍
  12. I've not done a mod yet Pete, the saws not very old but I keep on getting the temptation to when I use it, it's always made a massive difference to the other saws I've done. The only one that didn't need adjusting was my ms150. If using aspen, which doesn't create much carbon, would you still be able to check the colour of a plug?
  13. I wonder if anyone will ever get robbed by someone who used this thread to find out the best way to break in to a tree mans tool safe? I'd never heard of the portable gas torch thing... Maybe a big sticker saying "contains flammable liquid" would make them nervous? You could also attach some air bomb fireworks to the inside where you think someone is likely to cut, that'd probably blow molten metal in their faces!
  14. It would be because I'd have opened the exhaust port up, give it a bit more poke. I'll more than likely send it to spud and get it done properly, it's just I get these urges to buy a spare exhaust and have a dabble myself!
  15. I'm not sure Spud, if you take the air filter off mine and look down from above the saw the black plastic looks to go from the carb to the side cover where the adjustment holes are? Adw, the adjustment would be to richen it up, not lean it off 👍
  16. Is this the right one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/252044071123 The caps look plastic on mine.
  17. Is that a 7 spline carb adjuster adw?
  18. How do you richen up the carb on a 390xp? I've done it on a 346xp and 200t but this one looks loads different!
  19. Check out Crimson Guitars on YouTube, he has loads of vids about building guitars and also makes & sells luthier tools.
  20. Shall look forward to that one 👍
  21. You too dear fellow 😀
  22. I have a pulley saver that Hadleigh made me, I'll have a dabble with that next time. Cheers squire 👍
  23. It was the latter! Is that where the problem lies?
  24. Hey up Paul, I'm sure I've heard you saying on here that the Zigzag, with Blue Tongue, performs nice and smoothly in the wet, but for me yesterday that really doth butter no parsnips! Mine was as jumpy as heck, how can this be?
