  1. Had the old girl out today surprised it's not actually too bad in the mud.
  2. Raining hard in Essex looking brighter tho Better weather from mid week.....
  3. Out of interest where are you doing the course?
  4. Not good then mate. Presume your taking it to a garage for those prices? I think you need to be able to do repairs yourself if running older vehicles it's not so much the parts but the labour charge at a garage is the killer.
  5. What happened to yours paddy?
  6. I've had pto pump splitter but my preffered choice is the Browns hydraulic its cheap at £900 odd quid, very well made runs on just over Tickover and splits anything.
  7. I have just had my renewal from nfu and got a quote from Aviva on a multicar policy nfu wanted £800 with 9 yrs ncd for a 2007 ranger tipper got it for £308 with Aviva.
  8. All this talk of LDV's I felt left out so got this of ebay £1500 quid 6 nearly new tyres, taxed and Mot, 65000 miles. Will just be used as a spare runaround goes well tho.
  9. Why is it all the latest pickups are totally impractical for work, Some don't even have a ladder rack to protect the rear window or side rails to tie stuff down. Does look nice for posing in tho...
  10. There's a guy in the village thats had a Tata for years he likes his.
  11. Interesting read thanks for posting

  13. What vehicle will you be using instead of the disco Rob.
  14. Great day off roading yesterday
  15. Pink
  16. Your missing the point i don't mean jump on someone just because they are ignoring your signage and entering your work zone. I'm referring too live wires, lumps falling that would cause serious injury etc. As long as you can justify REASONABLE that's what I'm happy to stick too. Your right correct system of working wouldn't need this.
  17. I didn't say assault them I said use reasonable force. If something is likely to fall you are preventing harm, serious injury or possibly death. That's what I was told on My SIA door supervisor course but obviously not from a tree prospective though.
  18. You never touch someone you simply put your arms out and politely ask them to stop for a few seconds if they touch YOU or push you out the way you are allowed to use REASONABLE force. Can't see how it should ever get to this stage though.
  19. I know where your coming from, it is tricky on a low budget. I do find taking off the knotted hanqachief from your neck helps with the image though :-)
  20. For that kind of budget I would go LDV tipper with transit running gear.
  21. Hi Jon Happy Xmas, Sorry I was pulling I sell cheaps leg mate :-)
  22. People complain if the logs are too dry as they burn quickly :-)
  23. Christ what a transformation, when you said you was working over xmas didn't think you meant in Santas grotto :-)
  24. No I am the real deal mate without the Brentwood tan!!
