  1. Great comparison your spot on that's exactly right if the brakes failed on the car because you had pumped them too hard for the shitty pump to work properly, surely then they are liable as they sold you a car that's no fit for purpose? If you see the splitter the pipes are only one problem which I admit speed could have contributed but it was never run at full rpm, frankly the machine failed and bits fell off after doing less than ten cube of logs. I would never buy from them again and I was never given the chance to return the machine under warranty. Oh I did request a replacement spirol pin two months ago as the splitter head also fell off but that's probably because I split the wrong type of wood ?
  2. Can't get why I should phone you when you new full well there were issues? Surely good customer care is phoning the client from day 1 when they raise a concern of a machine that's under 6 months old . I post on here because I have had enough of being fobbed off. If you didn't receive a response from the EMAIL you sent me AGES ago ref bank details wouldn't it be courteous to give me a call to see if it had been received and not just ignore it ? Rant Over .....
  3. Doubt it Jon probably just get the buck past on to me again, It's always my fault mate :-)
  4. I know I am only too happy to hold my hands up if I ran it too fast and caused the problems , personally I am not convinced as I never have it blazing away as I'm tight not to use too much diesel! I vote with my feet so will not return or recommend to others. I'm using a browns which I have had for a few years and is very good. I don't want to slate riko but I would be interested to hear if any one else had similar problems or if mine was a Friday afternoon machine or if like mentioned my incorrect usage was to blame :-)
  5. What's wrong with £65 builders bag?
  6. Well two months on still not received the refund for the pipes as promised did send emails but no response. Sold my splitter and cut my losses, would not purchase from again but that's just from my experience and the customer care I received.
  7. Those new fiat 500 's are actually bloody good little cars.
  8. Once your rolling its fine, Pulling away on inclines is where mine is poor compared to a L/R
  9. That was a 2009 on a 58 plate 36,000 miles sold it for 11k
  10. That was auto yes good tow vehicle, Try pulling 2tonne plus from a standing start in an incline with a ranger or worse still reversing. Discovery is by far the best plus you can stick it in low range for monouvering.
  11. It was not practical enough always having to tow a trailer etc Don't get me wrong it was a lovely truck for driving around in.
  12. I recently sold my 3.0 rodeo now running the ranger, Discovery and for real heavy loads local tractor and trailer.
  13. Don't you find the gearing too high pulling those kind of weights?
  14. I would have a tranny tipper over the ranger any day but need 4wd to access sites. Mine is not particularly comfy it does my back in after about an hrs driving but like you say for plodding around they are fine.
  15. I got the tipper version. They are good trucks
  16. No mate no towing, a wire has broke off the alternator so cheap simple fix. I was on the way to B&Q with her indoors to get paint at least I got off painting the bathroom for tonight at least, Result! The AA were very good tonight and only took 15 mins to get to me.
  17. And truck, Was a bit light on the steering :-)
  18. He fast charged the battery and I made it back driving with just side lights .
