When I was employed I had a basic hourly rate plus a bonus of 0.50p hr doing 60hrs week + it adds up. If you were sick or missed a day, were late etc you lost your bonus. Stopped all this phoning in sick etc if I were to employ I would use a similar method. -
People say have the CS100 and hire a bigger 6" as and when personally I would buy a 6" and hire a wee chipper as and when needed. Whatever you decide the little CS100 holds its value very well so you can't really go wrong if you decide to upgrade in a year or twos time.

Until recently my cs100 was my only chipper it did the job but there is far more cutting to get branches to go through, I now have a 6" feed diesel greenmech and couldn't go back to the little one on a full time basis. Ideally if funds allow have both, but I sold my cs100 to part fund my new one.

Must say the LDV seems a good work horse, it's invaluable on jobs where a second vehicle is needed for keeping tools dry and secure. Wouldn't be without mine now hopefully get a couple years out of it and upgrade to something newer then.

I got a cheap trailer £80.00 bolted a pin type hitch to the front and strapped the back down, can use it in or out of trailer.

Had the first problem with Aviva today wanted to add a second named driver but they would not allow this? If it was to go to a single place of work that was fine so cannot take both trucks out tommorow beginning to think it might be cheap for a reason unlike nfu they added and removed named drivers with no problems.

I got some stein ones from the fr jones event in the summer and really pleased with them.

29 Nfu quoted nearly £900 and Aviva was £308.00 and that's for a ranger tipper.

Just switched from NFU to Aviva mines down to £308.00 fully comp, protected ncd etc. Like you say cheapest by far for me too.

I rescued some muppet from paper mills lock Friday night the water was just lapping the bottom of his girlfriends car window. I pulled up to him in the landrover and he jumped on my roof. Later that night there was a moped rider trying to get through and got stuck, a Just why would you????

I've got cooper discoverer stt on the ranger and landy and they are great. Brilliant on and off road and wear really well.
