  1. Hi just a bit of advice from the vast wealth of knowledge that i know is out there. I have a 98 Entec 6 inch and was using it this evening when the rollers slowed and stopped and on further inspection found that there was hydraulic fluid coming from the bottom of where the infeed rollers are. Now i presume this is bad:thumbdown:, and i haven't had the time to take them off yet but does anyone know what i might be looking at (apart from a big bill!!). Is it possible to repair the leaks from the roller motors easily? Or is it a big bill:thumbdown:
  2. To be honest i had a sausage roll whilst there. Two mint and lamb sausages in a brown roll for £5.50. Only problem i had is that there were no white rolls left:thumbdown:. I can't believe that people don't expect to pay these prices. Come on guys it was a day out. Think of your own business'. The bloke had two girls serving:thumbup: one bloke cleaning and sorting sausages out to be cooked and all these people need paying for as well as the pitch no doubt and insurance.........need i go on?
  3. Met a bird down my local the other night. Told her she was just like my little toe! She said 'why's that cos i'm small and cute'? I said no it's because i'll probably end up banging you on the coffee table!!
  4. Simon helped me with somewhere to tip, via Arbtalk, and he seemed to be a very helpful and honest chap .
  5. I would agree with this statement wholeheartedly in the cold light of day but.....and there's always a but, my mum went into my uncles house and found an intruder in there so as she's an old lady of nearly 70 she decided the best plan of action was to chase him down the street!! I said what were you thinking of and what would you have done had you caught him? She said she had no idea what she would have done and the only reason she chased him was due to her emotions and i quote ' who the hell did he think he was to be in my brothers house', so I have to agree with Deano in the fact that if you find yourself in a situation that is out of the ordinary you never know how you will react.
  6. Usually when a new model comes out the old models price drops. Can't understand why a Land Rover would be any different?
  7. I nearly got caught the same way. I was going to buy a Kubota mower from Gumtree. I had looked at loads and this one seemed fairly priced. It wasn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination. Anyhow they contacted me and wanted paying by electronic transfer at the post office. I was all set to pay and then phoned the guy just one last time to ask how i was going to get the machine. He said 'on a lorry'!! I asked how i'd get it off at my end as i haven't got a forklift. He told me not to worry so guess what....i started to worry. I relooked at the ebay invoive (as he said we'd do it through their transactions to give me peace of mind) and it didn't have my correct user name on it. I phoned the guy and suggeted that he was a crook. He decided to put the phone down. I informed Gumtree, Ebay and the police and to this day have heard nothing else so don't know what happened. Presume nothing happened really and he's out there scamming others. The only bonus was i had two numbers for him so initially i called him and told him i'd sent the money. All he wanted to know about was the code that he needed to get the money but i kept asking about the delivery. He kept saying it'll be there it'll be there so i told him that i knew his game and that he was a f!"*ing crook and i was going to find him and sort him out. I then spent the next two days phoning him and abusing him!! Absolute scum these people are. They need stringing up.
  8. They're not bothered what oil you use. They would take the saw to pieces in a warranty situation to see if they can see if it had been running lean etc. By the way i was told not too long back that i should be using the green two stroke in my four mix engine not the red. I was told it would do for the rest of my kit as well. Anybody else been told this?
  9. Thanks. Never thought of that. Good man!!
  10. I was busy reading and went back to the main menu and it just went down on me..............just as well as it was the only thing that did last night:lol:
  11. Hi everybody. I have a job to do in the Bell Green/Hall Green area of Coventry and was wondering if anybody knows of somewhere that i could tip. Thanks for your help in advance!!
  12. Ewan I have to agree. I remember that from a few years back and I always laugh at it. The best ad ever perhaps!!
  13. Hi if it's Geo Browns i don't think that they will deal in used small tools. We have a branch near us and they will buy and sell used mowers (ride on) but nothing smaller.
  14. How about invite him round to your place. Knock him up a cup of tea and maybe a few biscuits (cheap chocolate should do) and say you have got a great short video you want him to see............and then see what the reaction is. I'm sure if he has any morals whatsoever faced with you and a video a minimum of an apology and a full repayment would be the order of the day. After he has made his mind up just kick him in the nuts anyway:lol:
  15. I didn't think that it mattered. If this was stolen and still outstanding and proveable as being stolen then the item should have been at least investigated by the police as if it was insured it is still the property of the insurance company, and if not it is still yours!! It doesn't matter if 'some guy' done whatever it is still not officially their property whether they bought it in good faith or not
  16. Thank gooness for Monkey D and the good Timbercutter!! I too am a loyal royalist. Will probably not watch it, as i am not actually that interested in any weddings but i must agree with Monkey D the whole world will be watching our future King and Queen get married. It will hopefully help our country in its recovery. I wish them both all the very best and hope that they have a long and successful marriage. This pair are already doing wonders for our monarchy. Long live Wills and Kate. God save the Queen. And you miserable lot need to start feeling the love:001_tt2:
  17. Sorry to hear about this. It's not very good at all. I have had my garage broken into before and i live with this terrible fear of losing my kit now. These theives don't actually realise how it can affect people.
  18.. Good to see someone has got a sense of humour. Really made me laugh.
  19. It is amazing really isn't it? When i took the good hound out yesterday i too noticed that the ground was extremley dry so actually measured a few of the cracks ( sad i know ) and the deepest one was nearly six inches!! It's only April so i think we need rain.
  20. Brilliant picture! Happy birthday
