  1. Yes would be good to see it. Will be waiting:thumbup1:
  2. Ha ha i love it. To be honest i'd love a Landie and a TD5 at that but the problem i have is that my truck has been so reliable (touch wood) that i don't really want to move on!! How sad is that:laugh1:. I'm like a closet Landie fan!!
  3. Think we'll have to agree to disagree. You Landie guys love them and i can see why as they've got a bit of a cult status now. I just like a van that starts every time and is updated now and again and doesn't run with a 50 year old design ha ha ha:001_tt2:
  4. Bit thirsty i will agree but mine only failed really badly once on an MOT and that was four tyres:001_tt2:!!
  5. Nice ute:thumbup1:. Would love the tipper. Did you get it converted or buy her like that?
  6. New chassis, new engine parts new respray but it's 50 years old:lol:. Plus them Japs know what they're doing. If it lasts forever you won't need to buy another one will you............
  7. Problem is every time we go out as a family the whole lot get a good soaking:lol:. And as for the oil the road outside my house is starting to break up!! Council will bill me ha ha ha. Hilux is all i will say:001_tt2:
  8. Or the Mog if you can afford one. The ultimate toy!!
  9. You need to buy a Hilux. No need for cheap parts as they don't break down that often:001_tt2:!! Have a Discovery TD5 and it just leaks everywhere. If it's not in the sun roof it's out of the engine somewhere:thumbdown:. They have both done about the same mileage but the Hilux is about 5 years older. Go with the Japs they know about engineering:001_tt2:
  10. Have to agree with the other guys. Would love a processor myself but am still busting a gut working with my brother with me cutting the wood and him splitting it with a petrol splitter. It's easier than the axe but still could be a lot easier.
  11. I use builders bags. Look great especially with wood piled up to the top almost flowing out. Once your customers see that they will love you forever:thumbup: Can get two bags in the back of my ute and two in the trailer. Multi drop as well. No need to reload..
  12. I use the stihl MS390. Good chogging chain and a bit of weight behind it. Only problem i find is that it drinks loads!!
  13. Exactly LDV wouldn't bother!! (Sorry if you run one). Although saying that we ran a few when i worked on the council and they got loads of stick but thet kept going although not Maxus. Good luck
  14. Same here. I only manage to get about forty quid a bag. I can only bow to your superior salesmanship (if that's a word)!!
  15. Now don't get me wrong i'm not big on taking the law into my own hands but and it is a big but should i ever find anyone trying to steal from me i don't think i'd be able to control my anger and i'd probably do something i shouldn't. What annoys me is that they get away with it even when they go to court so a good beating from an angry arborist has got a sense of satisfaction attached to it. Good on you!!
  16. My mate lost one of his whilst gently going down the motorway a smidgen over 30mph. He said "it just came off!!". Perhaps they come with a limit on the speed that they fly off at do they?
  17. I just thought you really wanted his number ha ha ha. I'd have fell for it if you hadn't asked so many times:lol:
  18. Sorry to hear your news:thumbdown:.Can't trust anyone these days. Problem is all the kit will get sold on for next to nothing although keep an eye out on 'the bay' for ropes and stuff. Bit more of a specialist thing aren't they. Hope you have some luck. Don't suppose the police were really interested were they?

    Fence job

Thought it might have just been discarded. Hard to tell the difference between hedges and salt bins these days!!.

    Fence job

Nice job:thumbup:. Only issue i have is where on earth has the salt bin gone!!
  21. I believe it's a condition called fasciation:biggrin:
  22. Don't think they'd even do that, perhaps a pair of socks:lol:
  23. This is my mode of transport:thumbup:. Not quite as big as the last one but hey ho. You know what they say small but perfectly formed:lol:
  24. Thanks for that. I will go round and make an offer now then. Maybe bite his arm off but i think that's as far as i'll go:lol:
  25. I have been offered about 90 tons of hardwood all corded and seasoned just needs processing. Guy has been offered £20 per ton and says he wants a bit more. I have always supplied my own wood but was nearly out at the start of this year so am hoping to buy some in to keep up with demand. What would be a fair price (for a mate!) to buy wood in at?
