  1. I've got to decide just how involved I want to get with it. Already ordered a new Husky strimmer from Jonesie to replace it, so down to whether or not it is worth repairing as an extra. The repair will be beyond me so will be getting farmed out.
  2. Looks like some good kit there. As a heads up, he has a back-handle MS200 if anyone is looking for one.
  3. Cheers for the advice.
  4. It's only to the naked eye, but it doesn't look bent at all. Only a thorough check will tell, I suppose.
  5. Same cemetery in Southend had it last year too.
  6. My cup runneth over.
  7. Update on the FS90; it doesn't look pretty.
  8. Luckily I have a decent dealer within half a day's driving.
  9. FS 90 strimmer has dropped a valve and mullered the piston top. Will need a new piston and valve but the rect seems ok. Worth fixing?
  10. That sounds like the voice of bitter experience?
  11. Mark, I saw an ad down your way once in a local lifestyle sort of magazine which offered 5 silver birch logs tied together with a bit of ribbon for the bargain price of just £19!
  12. What were you looking for to find that?
  13. But only to a certain degree, and if the 'visitor' is actually a trespasser then that threshold is lower. In other words, somebody visiting to drop off a take-away leaflet ( a bona fide visitor unless you have a sign prohibiting such activity clearly visible at the point of entry to your property) is owed a higher duty of care than somebody who is trespassing. If that visitor then takes the opportunity to do something outside their remit, eg poking around, then their visit is considered to be a trespass from the moment they set foot on your property (ab initio) and the duty of care level is applied as such. Most of the time when you get stories about burglars who sue their victims for damages, it usually pans out that the victim has set a trap or just left property to rack and ruin. Still, it's all good fodder for the Daily Mail.
  14. Still friendlier than the Sick Boy approach though, David.
  15. Which part of The Occupiers Liability Acts did you get that from?
  16. Trespass (as distinct from breaking and entering) is a civil offence, not a criminal, and the only 'punishment' is being sued for any damage caused.
  17. Speak for yourself, ducky.
  18. Flymo GT500 running again. Going to give it a new blade before putting it into service.
  19. Central heating for tramps.
  20. Here you go, mate.
  21. Sorry Paul, it's that Bolam and Treequip dragging me down to their level.
  22. Mate, Jon is doing that because he is a good guy helping out a very good cause. Why some people stroll around arb shows in a pair of Cat C's sweating their cods off, I will never know.
  23. My first APF was certainly an interesting experience.
