    That is an understatement. If you decline all attempts at arbitration/mediation, expect the court to look unfavourably on you.

    I've got a pair of old German Paraboots that the soles went like that on but the soles were very old. Looks like either UV degradation or something chemical.

    I got lucky when I had a problem with mine. I sent some pictures of the problem and gave them the serial number of the boots. I didn't have the receipt but I did know that I had bought them at the previous year's APF.

    Friday was my last day which I spent doing some work on the in-laws' apple trees. This week I have been doing Xmas admin.

    Equally, it could be down to not everybody playing by the same rules eg no insurance, unqualified benefits claimers on the ground working for cash, etc etc.
