  6. will be on our friends at Fuelwood stand, all our timber and tractors etc helping them out with the show, as the lads have FMOC tickets needed for timber cranes etc - plus some of the lads will be there operating machinery - the rest back home operating our own machinery:001_tt2:

  8. can we accept a "posed" lunge - local rag doing an article on us and got the lads to do a lunge that wouldnt upset your aunt fanny - " I give you the publicity:lol: lunge"
  9. chap rang back to order a few days after i gave him our prices and load sizes i.e. 1 or 2 cubic metres - he said " hello we spoke a few days ago, can i now order the 2 cubic centremetre load please" - big load, big order:lol:

  11. mr baron, picked up an empty tip bag left witha customer from last year to refil this time, thought nothing of it and put it in the back of the crewcab, next thing - an army of large and i mean large spiders come marching over the back seat and onto his shoulder, he nearly crashed the van into a hedge trying to flick them off him - the girl! (altough i cant laugh - the big ones are creepy:blushing:
  12. having a prob. with who was going to have our chip from apf, so instead of bringing back to the yard, is anyone out there who can take our chip from the heizohack were demoing at APF - g30 screen chip , could change to g40 if needed chipping seasoned scots and larch - down 12 months so will be good chip at moment was going to chip into silage trailers, but if anyone wants we can chip into what ever you supply best offer secures cheers

  16. thanks, even my boys were flogging their bags of shavings they collect for their pocketmoney - made the day after we got the discovery there friday and found the ignition barrel had collapsed - call to AA who towed away to garage for a big bill to get a new one no doubt, rain set in - but all who enquired ordered and judging by the cards handed out should get some more new custom.
  17. just got back from our local agricultural show and I am so proud , ive just got to announce it on Arbtalk - We Won Best Show Stand at Ashbourne Show - yesssss:thumbup: makes it all worthwhile, plus the large bottle of grouse will help:thumbup1:

  21. didnt bother making the charcoal in the end for our bbq, we just piled in the stick bits and offcuts from around the yard, once it finished flaming and went white hot, cooked a treat
  22. my cousin whos in the building trade informed me about this the other day when he filled his trailer with 2 tonnes of sand it said on his tickets 2 scoops and was informed "if you go to most builders merchants now, they dont sell by weight, they sell by the scoop, ie.e will give a price of volume of sand etc and put on their tickets, how many scoops youve had, then they are complying with weights and measures."
