  1. Hi Jon we have one thats not used looks like 121080352323
  2. Great vans but I am 6ft 3 and the carcass just does not fit.
  3. I would be disappointed if you left a few small businesses in the lurch when you shut down last week. If you left no dirt behind then good on you for getting up and trying again. No offence and its not my business just my point of view.
  4. If the glass keeps going black on your new wood burner its a good sign your logs are not seasoned properly.
  5. Is the glass always black
  6. So you dont leave school go on a course and learn it all in 3 days. I am time served qualified Hgv mechanic. Back to college for 4 years in the evenings qualified approved electrician. On the forestry side nothing but 20 years experience.
  7. If you dried it next to your stove its not green is it.
  8. Or did he panic and not think to hit the emergency stop. deflecting blame away from operator by creating a H&S problem.
  9. There has never been a better time to spread your assets around. Some in property, machinery, bank, under the bed, premium bonds. I would give cord wood a miss
  10. I would imagine it has torsion bars. If they are not broken I leave them alone. I once adjusted a soft torsion bar up to stop it bottoming out. It worked great for a few weeks then snapped. When you adjust the bar has to twist further.
  11. Tipped loads often come in 1cu metre or 2 cu metre so those sizes would be good. I would overlap the boards on the side like a around the top of the animal sheds so the wind blows through but stops the rain.
  12. Its a way of hiding the fact its all soaking wet green softwood. Thats the third bag of that I have seen this week being held up with rude comments.
  13. I spoke to an iveco dealer this week and he confirmed that most ivecos inc the 3500kg gross ones tow 3500kg behind. He did point out most tippers and flat beds were on twin wheels and this would be the way to go for towing.
  14. If you are in a block of flats are your neigbours growing it on a window seal.
  15. Agreed most vehicles are worth 56% of there purchase price after 3 years. Not eight. You can buy a low spec hilux d cab for £16k + vat brand new.
  16. I have had this a few times in the last ten years. The solution is always a new carb I have tried alot of things to save money and just waste my time instead. I have a few ideas why it happens probably all wrong. An expert petrol engine teccy should be along soon.
  17. I never went and never new it was on and when I did still had no idea who the auctioneer was. The auctioneers job is to get the best price he can for the vendor. I have done the auction circuit for years. There are auctions and auctions. Some are little more than events with price tags if it does not sell they will cart it off somewhere else. But then there are proper auctions when you spend far to much money and need too many lorries but those days are well worth while
  18. Thats a goer as well
  19. I will work out a route plan think I may need several trips already . Hopefully we can help your kindling sales. You need good product reasonably priced and it helps if your customers are too busy and rich. PM will be sent.
  20. I found specs for a 3500kg gross canter which can go 7000kg gross train but I think the small iveco does 2800kg towing.
  21. I will have to do more research. I already have the ideal trailer and have seen some well made merc 814 for a couple of grand. 5k would buy something to go into London with. The 3.5 tonne stuff is no good as it only tows 2000kg. I would imagine a twin axle helps with the towing as well.
  22. If it comes to it I bet a forklift controller is very similar and may give more top end and slower smoother start.
  23. I can tell we have had the occasional fire from the scorched curled crispy tar around the top of the pot. As Dean says if the stove is fitted right you can strangle the oxygen. A good reason not to have a stove dumped in the hearth with 3ft of liner sticking up an unlined chimney.
  24. There are at least 3 sizes and the smallest has only half a metre so that come out to £140 a metre for oak which can be a pain in wood burner.
  25. Your better off with an old truck that does 20 mpg and never misses a beat. Rather than a new electronic 150 bhp 34mpg plastic bling machine that needs £2000 a year to screw it back together
