  2. Only if you send me your full postal address Sean
  3. Woo hoo!! At long last our winner has checked in to scoop his award!!! Congratulations BGG, you are a worthy winner and I'm sure you will love your Impact Block when it arrives! It is truly a thing of beauty
  4. Looks like there's still a healthy population of greenfinches in the UK, according to the recent RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch results. Highest population seems to be in the Scottish Highlands and the west coast of Scotland, which is strange as I think they are normally summer visitors in the far north. Overall they ranked the 14th most popular garden bird. All the information on the survey is in the result data on the RSPB website: The RSPB: Big Garden Birdwatch: Results 2011 - makes interesting reading
  5. Congratulations Mark and family! You have a beautiful new girl in your life. Enjoy every single minute of her, she is truly precious x
  6. cheers Frank, here's the link here, but give me a shout if your purchase is under £50 and I'll sort out free postage on the gloves for you Stiki Grip Gloves | Clark Forest : Work Gloves
  7. We're still waiting for Billy Goat Gruff to contact us to claim his winning prize, but we thought you'd like to see the winning images as they will appear on our website. Rupe's is currently featuring in the Rigging Section on our web site and as soon as we hear from BGG, we'll alternate the two images for the next couple of months, giving a link to both of the winning company's websites on our blog. ....and due to the great success of this comp, we intend to run regular photo competitions, where your photo could be the winning one that appears on our website (and of course scoops the prizes!)
  8. pm sent, might be able to help you out
  9. fabulous Dave...next time I'm needing a model for a photoshoot, I'll give you a shout
  10. How did your trip over the border go Liam? (or have we not let you back out yet?!)
  11. I couldn't possibly comment
  12. Ooops....I've just read my post again and oooooops
  13. Very pleased to hear that your parcel arrived ok Rupe. Have fun! Just to make everyone else a tad envious, here's what a beautifully engineered and beastly product Rupe's got in his hands (and will probably take to bed with him tonight ) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGX2O64Xc4I]YouTube - DMM Impact Blocks[/ame]
  14. Does anybody know Billy Goat Gruff? I've sent him a pm, but no word from him yet to know where to send his winning prize. If someone has a phone number for him, could you pm it to me please?
  15. After much deliberation, we've finally managed to pick our winner! An enormous thank you first to all who took part and if everyone who posted a photo in the competition could pm me their postal details, then we'll pop something off to you as a way of saying thank you for taking part. So, the winner....well, we had a real struggle deciding on the ultimate winner and had it narrowed down to two. Both had the 'wow' factor that we were looking for, both good composition and technically both good photos and demonstrated the elements of rigging well. So, at that point, we decided that two prizes were necessary... 1st prize the Large Impact Block with the runner up winning the Small Impact Block. So, in the end it just came down to personal preferences and we are delighted to announce that the winner of the Large Impact Block is Billy Goat Gruff with this photo: and the runner up, who wins the Small Impact Block, is Rupe with this image: If you could both PM me your addresses for delivery, we'll get the prizes off to you asap. The winning photos will also feature on the Rigging Section of our website and I'll be in touch with the winners to obtain the original photos and get details of your company to make mention of that in our Blog. Many thanks to all for taking part and very well done to the winners! Yvonne
  16. Hi Liam, I'm sorry I'll be out of the office this afternoon, but please still pop in if you can find the time. Ask for Blair. Hope you have a great day, Y :)

  17. certainly don't hate anyone from south of the border here
  18. Excellent news Liam and best of luck when you visit the Barony. They've got a great set up there and I'm sure you'll like it. You MUST pop in to see us when you're there on Wednesday, we're just over the road from the college and it would be great to meet you and your Grandad...I could show you around the company. Give me a ring if you need any help with transport to/from the college. Y
  19. Miele or Bosch. My Miele's very quiet and dishes always come out clean and shiny. Timer programme is great as you can run it through the night on the off-peak rate. The cutlery drawer was a strange concept at first, but I'm now a cutlery drawer convert. Much easier to empty than the cutlery baskets and if you load your cutlery in the dishwasher drawer in an organised fashion, ie all teaspoons together, knives together, forks together etc., you can really speed up the emptying process...just wham all the teaspoons in the teaspoon section of your cutlery drawer, knives in the knife section, forks in fork section! Bosch has never let me down either and the layout is perhaps slightly better than the Miele for loading up large amounts. Maybe also look at the Fisher & Paykel dish drawers. They are pretty cool. You can have one running a programme with the other one still accepting dirty dishes. Ooooops, just read that you've already made your choice.....good luck with your new Kenwood
  20. Thank you very much for the positive feedback boys....really glad to hear you are happy with your new purchase
  21. Well that's it....competition has now closed and we will now get down to the difficult task of picking the winner...which isn't going to be easy!! A massive thank you to everyone who has submitted entries and the good news is that no-one will go home empty handed. There will be something for everyone who has entered. (not an impact block tho ) We'll announce the winner before the end of the month
  22. Final Day of the Comp!! Still a few hours left to post your enter for your chance to win this beautiful beast...
  23. Our bar straightener is a great tool for this job, but as already mentioned, if it's a laminated bar it won't be easy to straighten. Solid bars are no problem at all
  24. We do them in 15, 30 and 40 litre options. 15 is ideal for arb work http://www.clarkforest.com/shop/chainsaw/spill-kits-and-cleaning/15-litre-oil-spill-kits
  25. Fantastic photos so far everyone Just one week left to submit your entries!! (Closing date 15 March)
