Adam, We're expecting them into stock this month, so I'd guess that Richard will be getting stock fairly soon too.
  2. Excellent job again Steve - you definitely deserve to put your feet up! . And fabulous fund raising yet again by all the arbtalkers - an amazing record breaking total! If the winner of our Clark log jack could pm me with their details, we'll get it off to you asap. Y
  3. Hiya roseyweb Yes, the 'cutandclimb' brand is only available from ourselves. I understand that you may wish to try the jacket on before you decide to buy, however if you purchase a 'cutandclimb' ARB jacket and it isn't suitable, we have a very easy returns procedure and would offer a full refund. (provided that the jacket is in resalable condition). The sizing guide is on the 'Technical Info' tab on the web page, which will help you decide on the perfect fit for you. If you need any further info, please give us a ring
  4. As an alternative to a saw horse, it might be worth considering the Clark Log Jack. Quick and easy to use and no need to lift the logs up off the ground onto a stand. The video explains it well.... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8JLQLuPTc0]Clark Log Jack - YouTube[/ame] Log Jack | Clark Forest : Forestry Tools
  5. Many of our customers are using the plastic inserts. They last longer than the wooden ones and are weather proof. No need for the rings either. If you need more info, click here: Plastic Handle for High Lift Wedges | Clark Forest : Wedges & Spares
  6. I'm really not sure if they brand them for Stihl. Could be a possibility.
  7. If you are looking for a top quality axe, then the Ochsenkopf (OX-HEAD) range of axes is also worth considering. Manufactured in Germany to a superior standard, these axes feature the patented Rotband-Plus system which protects the axe handle and thereby extends the lifetime of the axe. If you need any further info, please let me know.
  8. Give me a buzz if you want to discuss the sizing of the jackets Mark...here to help

  13. Hello oldmilltrees The cutandclimb bomber jacket is our original style jacket and the special price of £60 is our discounted offer price as this style has now been discontinued. We only have a few of these special offer priced jackets left in stock. Once they are gone, that's it! This jacket has been superseded by the new cutandclimb ARB jacket which is made from a superior performance fabric offering complete water-proofness, breathability, durability and comfort. Hope this answers your question and if you need any further info, please let me know. thanks, Yvonne

  15. You did miss a great event Stevie! There were over 2000 visitors and over 5000 tonnes of timber were harvested over the two days (You are correct that the poles were cut with a harvester and after the banners were up too!).
  16. Photos of the Forestry Demo 2011 available to view on facebook. Please click this link to view: Forestry Demo 2011 | Facebook
  17. Hi Ian, thank you very much for the feedback. It's always nice to hear positive comments :) It's been a long time in the making, but hopefully it shows off our range of products well enough. If you need any further info, please just let me know. Working hard at getting all the products onto the website, but mostly like when customers phone us! Cheers, Yvonne :)

  18. Very crocodilish. Can you do rabbits too?
  19. I'm delighted to report that the first ever Forestry Demo has been an enormous success!! We were overwhelmed with the support from the industry and although official attendance figures are still being collated, we are certain that more than 1500 visitors came to Ae Forest over the two days. The weather on Friday helped a lot...must have been the hottest day of the year! The feedback from industry professionals has been very positive. This was such a unique event...nowhere else in the world is it possible for visitors to see five and half thousand tonnes of timber being harvested over two days, by the world's leading forestry equipment manufacturers. I am sorry to read about the disappointments felt regarding the car parking charges. The 5 exhibitors felt that £10 per car was not an unreasonable amount to charge. Entry to the event itself was free of charge, with a shuttle bus from the car park to the demo site. With say, 4 people in a vehicle, £2.50 per person was a very cheap day out at a unique industry event. There was mention on the website about the parking charge, but point taken, a price should have been mentioned also. The food prices were set by the catering company and were, I feel, in line with normal event pricing. The burgers were delicious So, once the dust has settled, the five companies will have a review meeting to evaluate the event, discuss how it can be improved upon and what will be the future shape of the event. We appreciate everyone's comments and all will be taken on board. photos to follow shortly Les...just catching our tails at the mo!!
  20. Come along to the Forestry Demo this weekend and you'll meet them all!!

  22. That's a shame you aren't going to make it....it's going to be an amazing event! We'll get this one out of the way first and then see what the format of the next event will be. Check out the website for latest news on developments/preparations.... Forestry Harvesting Demo - Forest of Ae - June 3rd/4th 2011 Good news is....the sun is going to shine
  23. We won't have the 'shop' at the demo NI Tree, but our shop will be open on the Friday all day and the Saturday am, so perhaps you could pop in on your way past. You need to go past our warehouse/shop to get to the demo. Remember to say 'hello' when you get to the demo
  24. It's certainly shaping up that way Margaret! We had another site visit today....Harvester is in preparing the demo sites and it's all looking great! Site plan is now available on demo website http://www.forestrydemo.co.uk For anyone involved in forestry, this is an event not to be missed!
  25. Fantastic news Liam!! Well done! No doubt we'll catch up with you in August There's loads of landy stuff going on around here - the Ae4x4 club will be just perfect for you! Are you going to make it up for The Forestry Demo in June? Forestry Harvesting Demo - Forest of Ae - June 3rd/4th 2011 Best of luck
