  11. Amazing people and filming! It was the guy crossing the rapids on a wire rope with his flip flops on to go get some fish that impressed me the most. And I moan if I can't get parked near the door of tescos!
  12. We are really looking for rigging images Ben as that ties in with the theme for our rigging section in our web shop
  13. Valid point to raise Len. One important feature of the log jack is that the log is raised far enough up off the ground to allow a single cut through the whole log and from our experience and the feedback from customers this is quicker and easier than the traditional method you mention and although the log jack needs repositioned, this is a very simple process. The raised cutting position also makes the ergonomics of cutting more comfortable. With the log raised off the ground, this also prevents the bar and chain from hitting into the ground and blunting chains. If you watch the video link, you will see how easy a product this is to use: Best to get some feedback from some of the users on here though as I am slightly biased Thanks for posting your thoughts - feedback is always good in any shape or form
  14. Excellent variety of pics and top quality stuff Our 'favourites' list is getting longer......

  21. Thanks to everyone who has posted so far! Some fantastic photos...this is going to be one tricky comp to judge! When you're taking/composing your shots, remember that ultimately the image has to fit into the space on our header image on our Rigging section on our site (area highlighted in red)...that might help to give you an idea of the dimensions etc. Although it isn't completely necessary to get it exactly spot on as we can do a bit of cropping etc to make sure that it has maximum impact. In answer to your queries...... Anything is acceptable Robert. Go the Chuckle Brothers (Although we do need to follow some sort of H&S acceptability line for the winning photo as it will feature on our website ) Tommer9, the maximum rope diameter for the smaller Impact Block is 16mm, large one is 20mm. ermmm, technically...........no Looking forward to seeing more photos over the next couple of weeks
  22. Dreadful news. I'm concerned about atree, sure he's in Christchurch.
  23. Looking good Sean great standard to kick off with. Slight technical hitch with images and links but Mr B is on the case
  24. Photo of shiny product coming soon Stevie Sean...with that standard of photo you can post as many images as you want! Jonny...link to site will be up soon and you can see the price (does it really matter tho?)
  25. Here is your chance to win one of the industry's hottest new products! We are very excited to launch our photo competition with the winning prize a shiny new DMM Impact Block! The Competition: We love cool photographs of anything tree related and it seems obvious that this photo competition should be related to Rigging activities, given the prize that's on offer. So, we are looking for some creative camera action on your rigging jobs. There are no specific guidelines, other than we like dynamic action shots - just use your imagination and post your photos on this thread. The winning shot will also be used for the header image on our rigging section on our webshop during the month of April, with a link on our blog to the winner's website. Competition closes at midnight on 15 March 2011. Winner will be announced by 31 March and the judges decision will be final Happy snapping and happy rigging:thumbup:
