  1. Thanks for the info, Al. Here's an extract from the 'Proper Use of Protos' booklet that would have accompanied your Protos when you purchased it: "11. When should the Protos® Integral no longer be used? The Protos® Integral and its components should be checked periodically for visible defects (cracks, discoloration, etc.). The Protos® Integral and/or its components should be immediately replaced after exposure to stress (e.g. a fall or blow), even if the damage is not visible externally. Any modification of the product (e.g. drilling holes in the shell) can negatively affect the protective performance and must therefore not be carried out on this product!" Unfortunately because you have filed away the material on the ear capsule to allow for the cable to pass through, the integrity and performance of your product has been compromised. (Any alterations made to the manufacturer's original specification will void any warranty and will affect the certification). The only certified communication systems for use with Protos Integral are the Protos Bluetooth Communication System and 5 options from 3M Peltor. Regarding the brackets, please PM me your address and I will send you a replacement set. Replacement ear capsules are also available should you wish. Hope this answers your query. Y
  2. Hi Matt. KORE Therapy, perhaps with acupuncture, may be worth trying. (A session is around £35-£40). My daughter practices this therapy and she has some very positive results with her clients. www.koretherapy.com - their website will give you info on the technique and advise of practitioners in your area. Hope you find a cure soon

  12. Oops, should have mentioned that the trousers are manufactured from the same breathable and waterproof material as the cutandclimb jackets. Y
  13. Hi guys. Just to keep you in the loop and let you know that the new cutandclimb Rain Trousers will be available to purchase from the beginning of November . Sorry no images available just yet - but feedback from one of our field testing customers was... "they are brilliant!". ) The cutandclimb Rain Trousers match the excellent quality of the cutandclimb jackets, providing 100% waterproofness and great durability. Manufactured from the same tough material, all seams are taped and double stitched. Long waterproof zips on each leg provide ease of putting on and taking off over chainsaw boots. Elasticated waistband makes for quick and easy pulling on. Full product info will be available on our website soon. cutandclimb Rain Trousers are priced at £125 ex VAT and will be available in sizes from Small to 2XL and you can pre-order by mail, [email protected], or phone, 01387860241. 14. I did wonder about the legwarmers too when I read it Thought I'd have to open up a new line of arb accessories! Seriously though, I appreciate both comments and we are sure you won't be disappointed with the durability of the new trousers. I'd be delighted to take pre-orders, but we will be taking plenty into stock, so there should be enough for all to go round.
  15. Hi Aiden, hoping they will be available early October and yes, the leg zips will be fully waterproof
  16. Yip, Mark, the new cutandclimb waterproof trousers are made from tough, durable material ready for the rigours of our industry!
  17. Sorry for not updating you guys !! 21. Hi Guys Having received constant requests from our customers over the years to produce a pair of waterproof trousers to match the quality of our cutandclimb jacket, we are going into production. 😀 However, it's important for us to include the features that our customers need and we'd therefore be delighted to hear your views on what would make the ideal waterproof trouser for you. We will be manufacturing the waterproof trousers from the same tried and tested, highly durable, highly breathable and waterproof fabric and will also be incorporating a waterproof side zip down each leg side to aid getting them off and on with boots on. What we'd like to know about is stuff like: Side leg zips - what's the optimum length? Do you need belt loops? Do you need connecting points for braces? Hi viz tapes - necessary or not? Pockets - yes or no? Elasticated waistband or trouser style finish with zip and button? Price point (realistically it'll be in line with the jacket). Colours? So, please fire away and let us know what you'd like the cutandclimb waterproof trousers to feature!
