  10. Guys! We've been wondering how long it would take until our little faux pas made it onto here!! Excellent! Yes, the image has been mirrored and we failed to spot this in our haste to get the advert to FJ. On reflection (pardon the pun)....our slogan should have been.... "Safety and Comfort from Back to Front"! Cheers lads
  11. Icabrol...I'd imagine that treetools in NZ will be stocking them. Give them a buzz and they'll give you the details of delivery etc.
  12. Hi Stormin Norman...thanks for your post. Pfanner addressed every element of the Arborist trousers when they went through the redesign process and from the feedback we've received from the UK guys who have tested the new 2013 design Arborist trousers, they are really impressed.
  13. At the moment it's only the arborist chainsaw trousers that have this fabric.
  14. Zips and stitching shouldn't cause you any trouble Mick
  15. We'll work with Pfanner to get the hi-viz colours in this new design. Might take a little while to switch over, but we'll get it done

  18. That's definitely something Protos are looking at.
  19. Yes, hygiene kits are available and very simply replaced. The outer shells are also available as spare parts too. See Protos Accessories. Protos Integral Forest comes with the standard G16 visor (16 notches per sq cm) with the finer mesh F39 visor (39 notches per sq cm) available for those working with finer sawdust. The visibility through the F39 visor is also better, almost unobscured.
  20. Hi Guys.....thanks for the positive feedback on our cutandclimb jacket. It's brilliant to hear that our jacket is keeping you all nice and dry in this Great British Weather! To answer your question on the pricing VEG and Matt GT.... The first cutandclimb jackets were priced at around £85+ VAT and latterly, before the new version came out, we reduced the price a little just to move the stock. This version has now completely sold out and has been replaced with the new version. The current price of the new cutandclimb jacket, £125 + VAT, reflects the increased quality of the fabric used. The new cutandclimb fabric is laminated, not coated, which means that the fabric always maintains it's waterproof qualities and doesn't need reproofed. This fabric is also more breathable, helping to keep you comfortable as perspiration is allowed to escape through the fabric as you work. It's also more durable and has great colour fastness qualities which keeps it looking new for much longer. The cutandclimb jacket is also still manufactured in the UK. We could take it overseas to be produced, which may help to reduce the retail price, however we know and trust the quality of manufacture here and this is very important to us. As a company, we always take great pride in our products and wouldn't want to compromise this in any way. Hope this answers your question.
  21. Hi Jon.... You might find what you are looking for in our range of Sappies and Log Picks: Sappies and Log Picks | Clark Forest : Forestry Tools Long handled log picks are 1100mm long and come in either plain or toothed pattern (for use in frozen timber).
  22. Hi Treespotter The Protos Forest helmets in our stock are stamped EN397 only in the inside of the helmet. The Protos Arborist has one final test to be performed to pass the certification for EN12492, which will happen very soon. The technical differences between the two versions are explained on this information leaflet from Protos: Protos Technical Information Hope this helps to explain
