  1. Anthracite grey is the official colour The knee pads and inside of the ankles (Cordura/Armortex fabric) and the bi-stretch fabric on the seat area are in black
  2. Getting really good feedback from our customers too JP. Comfy and hard wearing trouser. Fast becoming our most popular Type A trouser. If you are climbing though, you might require a Type C, which Progress doesn't come in at the moment. Link to Progress info here: SIP Progress Chainsaw Trousers | Type A
  3. ah ha! blown your cover now James!? http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/picture-forum/15674-pole-climbing-batman.html
  4. Just been sorting through some photos on my system and stumbled upon these ones taken at the Royal Highland Show last June. Perhaps someone out there recognises themselves????
  5. I'm not an expert in PowerPoint, but you will find those settings in the 'custom animation' department....under the slide show tab. Let me know if you need any further direction, will be pleased to help Ahh too late....well done WeeDee and much better explained
  6. I rather like what you have done Chris. It's uncluttered and is easy to navigate through. I think the majority of your customers will find it user friendly and they can get to the information they want fairly easily. Through time you can build up the library of images. As a suggestion, perhaps rather than saying on the home page that you 'aim to provide a high quality service.....', you should be more positive and say 'you provide a high quality service'?? Also, perhaps say on home page which geographical areas you will do work in. 50 mile radius of County Durham?? Or work carried out in County Durham, Yorkshire, Cumbria?? I don't know how far you would travel to do work. It would add a bit of interest to the pages if you had a photograph inserted in the area where the google ads currently are, once you get rid of those. Can't stress enough though about registering the domain name. This should be one of the first things that you do, even before building the site......hope you've done it now Good luck with it all
  7. Very amusing photo of the 'seriously bendy coo' Alex
  8. Correct Skyhuck. Upon googling, I can't find any details of confirmed cases of myxie in hares in their natural environment. Closest thing I found was this... 'Myxomatosis is very rare in hares. Only a few mountain hares develop clinical signs after experimental infection, but myxomatosis after natural infection has been reported'.... but it doesn't give any info of the cases reported. And the Hare Preservation Trust says this..... HARE PRESERVATION TRUST News Bulletin 69 31 July 2009 Hares and myxomatosis Some authorities say they never catch it, while others say they do, but only very rarely. Myxomatosis is spread mainly by fleas in rabbit burrows, so possibly living above ground helps hares avoid the disease. Also, although hares congregate into groups, especially when feeding, they are much less social than rabbits. Hares do catch a disease known as European Brown Hare Syndrome (EBHS) which is closely related to a rabbit disease known as Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease (RHD) - both being caused by viruses known as calciviruses. So, I think that the wee hare is quite safe from myxie. (Goodness, didn't think my photo would produce such an interesting discussion )
  9. Hares can get myxie, but it is very rare. This one certainly didn't show any signs of it at all....just after that photo, he leapt up and darted off up the hillside. I think he was so frightened when he saw us that he lay as still as he could, for as long as he could and when we got too close, he took off...looked quite young. This one is a Brown Hare, common to the lowland farmland in southern Scotland. Have a great time at AT Steve!
  10. I had the lens at full zoom, but we got really close to him...about 20ft away. He lay there for ages and was so well camouflaged....was a real treat to get that shot Here's another cutie we saw as well.....
  11. We were climbing Queensberry and didn't see any sign of the 4x4's in Ae...where were you guys today? We did see this little guy though......
  12. Can sort you out easy enough Ging...we have daily deliveries going up to the Highlands. I'll send you a pm with some prices.
  13. Hi Brett, the west coast is def. the most scenic. Kyle of Lochalsh area....then over to Skye (bridge is toll free). If you want something very special, head up to The Three Chimneys Restaurant on Skye three chimneys - restaurant and accommodation, isle of skye, scotland. Then further north on the mainland, there are the amazing Inverewe Gardens Property Details for Inverewe Garden. The beaches in that part of the world are incredible....miles of sandy beaches with nobody else in sight. If you have time on the way north, travelling up the west coast through Dumfries and Galloway, and up into Ayrshire is also really pretty. Landscape is softer with rolling hills rather than the mountainscape, but the drives along the coast are stunning. Loads of lovely little places to stop and camp out. Moffat is a favourite stop off just over the border Moffat Dumfries & Galloway Scotland, as is Gretna Green Gretna Green - for Gretna Green weddings, shopping and accommodation Wherever you decide upon, have a fantastic honeymoon!
  14. Hi there....welcome aboard, sure you'll find the forum really useful and good luck with your job search
  15. Visor and ear defenders are interchangeable between the two Stein helmets Mozza
  16. The Climber's Helmet is rated to EN12492 standard and the Work AQ helmet is EN397 rated. There's certainly lots of ventilation in them both which should keep you cool...?? Maybe you are working too hard If it's coolness you are after, then the Petzl Altios is fab, but you can't fix a visor or ear defenders to it. (Ear plugs and safety specs would do the job though).
  17. Yes, it's got comfy padding like the climbing helmet which can be removed to wash. I'll double check on the ear defenders and visor for you tomorrow and pm you. Another option could be the Oregon Helmet? Cheap and cheerful
  18. Stein do a Hi-Viz Groundsmans helmet too Mozza....the Plasma Work AQ Have a look at it here: Stein Hi-Viz Work AQ Helmet from Clark
  19. Yes indeed it was Mr H
  20. Mark, empty your message box pls :)

  21. Gosh, this is early for swallows. It's always lovely to see them arrive again and hopefully you are right that it's the sign of a good summer.....long overdue. I just hope the swallows don't travel north too quickly as we are forecast snow today!
