  1. These are the Workware ladders (selling like hot cakes!!)
  2. Please have a look at our range of timber grabs on the following link - might be of use. Give us a ring if you need further information or advice...... Powerhand Attachments - Materials Handling for Forestry
  3. That isn't a problem as the third leg is adjustable, meaning they can be altered to suit varying ground levels. They are also really stable - I've been to the top of the 16ft ladder and I wasn't at all.
  4. They are seriously cool Matt! Click on the link below to get to our webshop, price and other info on there, Y DMM Big Boa Karabiner from Clark
  5. That is a keen price Jamie - I'd imagine they'll be getting rid of surplus stock of the older style Boa. The new DMM Big Boa, has been revamped and now has a fully I-beamed hot forged back, key-lock nose and is as light as a feather, weighing only 86g!
  6. Thanks guys, it's been a real pleasure to help out, in my very small way. Enormous praise to Steve for bringing the whole thing together - I don't think we fully appreciate the work that goes into setting up and running the raffle. This truly is a wonderful charity to support and I can only hope that we can all pull together and raise an enormous sum which will undoubtedly make a huge difference to these special children and their families. With over 4,000 Arbtalk members, if we all gave £5........well, you can do the calculations!! If you have time, have a look at the videos on The Children's Trust website, Video - The Children's Trust ........really moving. Y
  7. Woolpower thermals come in weights from 200g - wool being self cleaning, keeps the smellies at bay. Their garments can be worn for days on end without making a whiff! Amazing! I've been wearing the same pair of Woolpower socks for a week and they are still sweet!!! (ish!). There's a bit more info on Woolpower (as worn by Ray Mears) here: Woolpower Thermal Garments
  8. Great! Glad they arrived okay Minus 5 here this morning but I've had roasty toasty toes all day with my Woolpower socks on
  9. Hey, we've only just started!!! There's a long way to go yet................
  10. :thumbup:Roasty, toasty hands all day, well that's just fandabbydozzy!!
  11. The Gill Championship and Pro gloves come with full fingers also
  12. Shreks Wee Brother is testing out the Sealskinz Ultra Grip Gloves for us this week, so we await his comments....................
  13. Yip, I agree Justin. Oregon's range are excellent and their new Friedland Type A's are quite impressive! Lovely material, stretchy and comfy. Nice colours too
  14. The new SIP Type A Progress trousers are really popular with groundies. They've got a Teflon coated outer fabric providing water, dirt and oil resistance and have a 4 way stretch fabric for comfort. Don't know if anyone on here has them to pass comment, but the feedback so far has been good. SIP Progress Trousers
  15. They shouldn't let any water in because: "SealSkinz® socks and gloves use a type of membrane called hydrophilic ("water loving"). Hydrophilic membranes are totally solid, without pores. It is therefore physically impossible for droplets of liquid water to pass through the membrane, however, it is breathable because water vapour molecules are transmitted from molecule to molecule through the membrane on the polymer chain and expelled on the other side. The driving forces are the differences in humidity and temperature between the atmospheres on each side of the film. The internal climate, next to the skin, is hot and humid because the body is generating heat and moisture as it exercises. The external climate is much drier and cooler. Consequently water vapour is driven from the inside of the garment to the outside. As the foot or hand gets hotter during an activity, so the film becomes more efficient at expelling moisture".
  16. Look forward to hearing how you get on with them
  17. If it's an Indexator rotator Stevie, we can have a look at it: Indexator Rotator Service and Repair, Rotator Warranty Repair, Indexator Engineers And grabs are our thing too: Powerhand Attachments Timber Grapples & Grabs for Forestry
  18. Sorry, can't help you out with that one
  19. £246 + VAT per drum plus delivery PM on it's way
  20. See my amended post - no good with prescription spectacles - sorry
  21. I've just tried them on with my sunglasses under them (was a bit dark!) but they felt comfortable enough. Depends on what your glasses are like as to how far off your face the goggles would sit. It's recommended that there shouldn't be a gap between the product frame and the face though, but if you want to try them out and they don't fit or feel right, you can always send them back to us for a full refund. Woops, just read the instruction leaflet and it says that 'Prescription spectacles should not be worn under this product'. So no good for you Mozza, sorry.
  22. Our customers are finding the Safe-Eyes Goggles really useful in this wet and windy weather. (And fear not, you won't all end up looking like Mr B with them on!) Safe-eyes Goggles
  23. Thanks for confirming the circumstances of this incident Nick and my apologies to all for the slight misinterpretation of the story. The packaging here in the UK states that Celox is 'for life threatening emergency bleeding' and 'for use by trained emergency responders'. This does seem to rule out use of the product for minor injuries. Perhaps the packaging in the US is different MB??
  24. I don't have confirmed evidence of these incidents Tim, purely anecdotal. I'll do some more research on this in the morning and post findings. Terribly sorry to be causing alarm bells
  25. Absolutely MAGIC!!!! Atmosphere at Murrayfield was explosive!!!
