  2. i did! If you can afford it, i would advise going for it! I used to practice out of college doing rec climbs at the weekend, which helped my progression alot! Your looking at £400 for brand new stuff (not inc spikes), not the worst, but not the best. You can keep adding stuff until you reach over £1000 easily.

  8. I would include gsce as you are quite young. CV's should be kept simple. short and sweet. Name/address/contact details (d.o.b isn't necessary) Education History Work History Other relevant history (volunteering, prince of edinborough etc) Then a covering letter, just a little bit about yourself, why you enjoy the industry, your interests out of work, bigging yourself up basically - telling them that you are the one for the job, not the others!

  15. I have seen the light after borrowing a set recently! Conny bashing in the rain has never been so good! My question is, where to get the cheapest (but still quality) set with attachments for a petzl helmet? Cheers
  16. i like the idea of watches, but when i used to have one, time went really slow as i checked it every 15 mins!

  25. My old boss started at 38 or 39, that was 4/5 years ago, he now has a successful business. as long as you are fit and healthy, with a love of the outdoors (whatever the weather) you will love it!!
