    Zipline

    Well said.
  2. I have converted two other people at work, they love it! Even used it on a medium Ash dismantle the other day, thought i'd give it a real test - it coped well upto 6/7 inch wood (ooh err!) before the bigger saw was sent up.
  3. Wow! Quids in! On goal difference aswell haha
  4. Very colour coordinated aswell! Boots - red/black, Sawpod - red/black, Troos - red/black. All you need now is a load of Jonsered saws
  5. Liking the new troos Mark!
  6. I purchased the honey bros hitchclimber kit about 4 years ago with the spliced OP, then when it wore out I just used lengths of cord with fisherman knots, it made no difference to the functionality of the HC. It's only bulky when using a rope wrench tether with two tails.
  7. nice one! you won't look back. try these, see how you get on... Knut - Knots Guide | Arbtalk.co.uk Valdotain - Knots Guide | Arbtalk.co.uk
  8. The eye2eye is too long i have found. Around 70cm is alot better. Also, just buy a bit of cord and tie fishermans knot instead, much cheaper!
  9. What a load of crap. Who really needs this? Has anyone pondered about what their life is missing and thought "You know, i really could do with having some bloody awful looking glasses to wear that act as a smart phone, because i can't be arsed to reach into my pocket" I appreciate how clever the technology is, it's just completely unnecessary. Human's are just going to get even more lazy - perhaps google can bring out a special catheter bag so we don't ever have to stand up, or move.
  10. I thought this would go down well amongst a forum of tree surgeons, guess not haha.
  11. They have a stall at Wells market the weekend before fathers day if anyone is interested (and from somerset), or Bath Christmas market... they have a online shop, but it's in germany... Shop / Produkte
  12. btw, it's chocolate
  13. My housemate sold some bike brakes on ebay and the bloke who collected them showed us some tools he makes. We ended up buying the screwgate carabiner (thus cancelling any money made from the ebay sale!) Not sure I'd like to hang off it! It'll taste nice, though. We tried a bit of the bottle opener he had, really good stuff!
  14. mark, i use the stein clips for attaching my throwbag to the spliced eye. they seem pretty sturdy, i've only broken one in a few years of chucking it about. only a couple of quid each. i'd go for the larger ones. 15. Looks quite cramped though!
  16. I just copied that same bit of text then saw your post. Brilliant
  17. Just a heads up that living woods are doing a £5 trial sub, where you'll get 3 issues. Normal shop price £11.25 (Google living woods) Sorry on my phone, not sure of exact site. Really good issue this month.
  18. This is how i see Tony Sorensen in my head...
  19. looks tidy!
  20. thanks for the heads up, i've seen it before but not for a while. a refreshing change from the usual arrogant snobs on that program!
  21. Luckily i'm in no position to give out meaningful advice then Seriously though, that is utter nonsense.

    Camping

Trevone campsite, nr padstow, cornwall. £5 per pitch (if you have a 8 man tent, it's still £5) You can have as big a fire as you can build and make as much noise as you want. 1 mile walk from two nice sandy beaches.
  23. Yes indeed Marc, it's been in full effect today. I love it!
  24. Haha no unfortunately, just joking about. Maybe you should think about developing the 'Sawpod XL'
