I'm on talk talk and can't get on the internet at the mo (DNS not responding), tried turning the router on and off and used another laptop, but nothing and no wifi on my phone either Anyone else on talk talk having problems...? Sent from Rob's GalaxySII

Don't think it is davidia, winter buds on them are crimson with a good robust point, these in the pic seem to be green and stalked Sent from Rob's GalaxySII

Right, best guess at the moment (the stalked buds being key in this pic) would be Alnus cordata, and i have seen Italian Alder leaves that big before now Will carry on looking though:biggrin:

Anybody heard of this or know of anywhere i can muster some research/results? Tried the athens route to no avail and don't want to use the info available off wiki:001_rolleyes: It is particularly trees in the savanna that interest me at the moment but i feel this may be used all over the worlds by trees and plants, just need good examples of it to prove so:biggrin:
