  11. Surely a CUSTOM built timber support made of oak beams would be one thought, but what are you going for... Out of the box, new and trendy, stylish and traditional, or something to enhance the trees features per chance? there is a sideways growing Cedrus libani growing in a park near me with railway sleepers as supports, the tree is is more than 45degrees leaning over and the supports have become kind of part of the walkway too, it looks cool:thumbup:

  13. Its only a matter of time before they find a wormhole! Sent from Rob's GalaxySII
  14. might take a bit longer than 6 years then:001_rolleyes:
  15. So with 1 light year being about 5,878,625,373,183 miles (6 billion or so) and Kepler22b being 600million light years away, thats only 35,271,752,239,098miles So if we could travel at the speed of light which is exactly 299,792,458 metres a second or about 186,000miles a second then it would only take 189633076ish seconds or roughly just over 6 years to get there:thumbup:
  16. little bit thin there and not perfectly parallel, so only....... 9.1/10:001_tt2:

  21. is that a windmill blowing up or has something flown into it?
  22. A good while ago now someone on here posted a story/quip/joke about how the earth was created by god:001_rolleyes:, and that he blessed the planet with all these self propagating, grow anywhere, hardy plants (known to some as weeds), and man dug these all up to replace with hard to establish and keep alive, strange and wacky cultivars? Obviously the this was better worded in a post somewhere, i've used the search function for words i thought may be in this story but can't find anything (i've tried google aswell) So, does anybody remember reading anything like this and where i can find it??
  23. I'm sure there is someone round here radical enough to do so:biggrin:
  24. Only 600million light years away, won't take me long to get there for me jollies:thumbup1:
