  1. Now I look close I can see that.
  2. I had the same thing happen to me, in embarrassing circumstances, I had to get the new wifes ex sister in law to come & get on the bed with me to free myself,we had gone there for an overnight visit, wife went out early to get some shopping, & I got stuck trying to put my socks on It hurt like hell too!
  3. Internet find, no reds round here anymore.
  4. Yep,thats quite cool!
  5. What a bad way to go!
  6. We have all told you,it is not going to be a great saw, simples. If you want a good reliable saw,go for a known brand of good repute,if you want to faff about pondering cheap Chinese saws, then go get one & find out how bad they are, it really is that easy. People responding to this thread are trying to save you from wasting your money, they know saws inside out. You have asked about 3 saws to date, none of them worth even looking at, stop wasting yours & everyone elses time & take the advice given...go for a known & respected make of saw.
  7. That's 3 carpy saws the op has asked about now, just get yourself a decent saw, saves a lot of messing about.
  8. I would go for a more powerful saw, you never know when you might need the extra grunt to chase the hinge if you need to, a 16 inch bar it pushing the boundries of a 200t in my line of thought

    love it

I think the op probably had to drive home a bit sharpish before the rotgut turned him blind!
  23. I did a belter on an Ash last week on the canal,3 foot gap between boats & an iron railing, must admit it did rattle my nerve a bit mate.
  24. No sign of fruiting bodies David. The Tree officer gave per for removal & a re-plant,I swung it to leave it as a coppice & see how it does, saves the client the price of a stump grind,& I thought it a venerable old thing.

    lucky me

Mate of mine has a novano van,he has mirrored back windows to stop people looking in at his tools. he left a back door open, the result was a burn through the plastic bumper, across the ply bed,(it cut right through), & one destroyed strimmer motor. You could see gaps in the burn where the clouds passed between the sun & vehicle.
