    Fake 395XP

    So did I.
  3. I would be rather reluctant to use sailing kit for climbing when perfectly good & aproved climbing specific kit is available, using your climb kit for lowering is a no no too, call me a stick in the mud,but I'm alive & intend to stay that way for a while.
  4. Thats right Tom,thats what made me think the timing was out,(retarded),has the same white smoke.
  5. Yep they were not the best on wet roads, good in the mud though!

report to ebay, saves someone a waste of money.
  7. I had a few sets of those SAT's over the years.
  8. Could be an ecu or cable conection fault if its electronicaly controlled injection, but thats just a guess as its beyond my knowledge level, hope you get it fixed quick & cheap, let us know how you get on with it too.
  9. Sounds a bit like it could be the head gasket,or pump timing.
  10. I have had good results with the duffus trap over the years, heres a link. Tunnel Type Mole Trap
  11. Sounds a great oportunity, wish I was in a position to have a shot at this.
  12. Its ok,I use the dremmel on the mutts teeth,by the time I have half of em sharp he is ready for the kill!
  13. It is a slightly different world now for the youngsters,we have new ways of comunicating, with immediacy,& an overwhelming obligation to fit in,( mobiles & facebook etc),a famine of work potential, disaffected parents,& a softness in the schools. The throw off from this is out there to be seen,& the kids that are victim to this can become intoxicated by their plight to the extent that they become everything that we resent, then you get your 'hangers on' who think its cool to follow the bad ones. Not too long and you have a new sub-culture with their own rules,no respect for their surroundings,(people & property),the catalyst is the dealers in drugs & weapons who thrive on it & get the easy ride. But at the end of it,some will be as hard as you can get, some just sheep. When I was young I was one of those (few) who were on a mission of self destruct,we kept fit, boxed etc,but were out for as much quality trouble as we could rightously find,I stopped all that through loving a lass, mates got shot etc, banged up,it was all a great big laugh at the time, even to the extent of it being funny as one at a time your mates fell victim to one thing or another. I dont know that it is different now, other than more infectious to the youngsters due to the coms that we never had & they do have in this time.
  14. Well heres a couple of pics of my versatile groundy at work over my field, being trained to use a digger,(this is the £1100 machine I jumped at a couple of days ago). P3301422 by geoff321, on Flickr shk9 by geoff321, on Flickr shd by geoff321, on Flickr

    Back Home

Good to see you back in one piece.
  16. No similarity at all,but she does throw a mean combination of punches if upset, believe me I know.
  17. I have a barbadian lass working for me as a groundie, very good too.
  18. Just a quick heads up. Predator is off line for a while as he has lost his landline & internet,he wishes to thank everyone for their help on here & will be back as soon as he can get an internet service sorted out.
  19. Timberwolf tw125,a superb little chipper, same bearings as the big brother tw150,but they are under stressed on the 125,so keep the blades sharp & it will just keep on going. Fuel will cost about £1.25/cubic M of chip, depending how you use your chipper, mine gets put on tickover at any oportunity that will extend beyond about a minute,I have seen a lot of people that leave a chipper running fast & not getting worked,I dont get that.
  20. Any more than a 14 inch bar,& your better off getting a 346xp or the like up there,I have never fitted a 16 inch to a top handle saw,so I'm spouting blind, but I would rather a saw with the guts to let you chase a cut if you need to,especialy on big stuff,or speed up the work chogging down without over stressing your main climbing saw.

Tough one to answer, history puts a dull outlook on any thought out conclusion,& we only get to judge on the info we get over here. It would be lovely to think we have & will make a positive contribution to the calming of the troubles enveloping the area,& also to take the anger & turmoil that aflicts those living there & elswhere from the equasion. I do feel that blood will be spilt for many years to come,if its theirs after we slowly pull out it will fade from our vision,if it continues to be ours then it will continue to be a focal point. I wonder to what extent the average Russian is still interested in such things now time has faded their excursions into the area...
  22. It would possibly root, then if it survived in the ideal environment throw suckers up from the new root system.
  23. That looks a nasty climb,I had an easy day maintaining my saws, sanding down & oiling my truck sides,& whilst 'treading water' done £1100 on a very nice 1.5 ton digger I have had my eyes on for a few years,so a bargain gained after a vulture's wait.
  24. I trust it all goes well for you,& a speedy recovery too.
