  1. Not if your trailer or chipper is properly built and weighted. My ifor NEVER affected the ride height of the landrover, and my 935i vermeer chipper doesnt make it drop either. If you have a fixed height towbar you can encounter problems here, but if you are towing weight regularly you ought to invest in an adjustable height towbar anyway.
  2. I did mine myself for about £400 ish.
  3. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiaVgmwKvy8]YouTube - ‪I've Just Cum (2)‬‏[/ame]
  4. "The job is simple and easy and should only take a few hours, though it's risky and involves breaking the rules. " I Love it......what a thing to write on an advert for work:001_rolleyes::lol:
  5. Happy birthday. but you're not getting a saw!
  6. Gibbon had a guy do some body work up near him. He is Exeter area. There is an excellent body builder down here in cornwall too, but thats probably too far for you.
  7. Haha thought it might be. I ran a 620i for years and years (now have a 935i) which i had put a big deutz on. One tyre was a commercial tyre, the other was a michelin car tyre. Although i only ever had one puncture, I did dent the rim a few times on that side, which was a real PITA as i couldnt find a 5 stud 13 inch rim for love nor money. I even spoke to vermeer USA who said they had never fitted them, and Knott, the hub manufacturer, who said the same!!! Sad to see it go TBH it was awesome. (sorry for the derail:blushing:)
  8. YOu could try Radmore and Tucker in exeter. I take it you have tried the suppliers on the right of the page?
  9. Do you sell BFG mudd terrain KM2s? How much for 285/75/16 per pair?
  10. It should have commercial grade tyres. Standards will not handle it. Is it a 6" machine BTW?
  11. What a magnificent specimen in that last photo David!! Wow!
  12. I am surprised nobody has mentioned the landcruiser yet. Surely the ultimate tow motor?
  13. Stihl 2 stroke is IMO about as good as it gets. Chain oil.....well pretty much whichever you like.....I use veg oil from the back of the chip shop. Those grease guns for the bar....well I have NEVER used one, once you start you will always have to, but i was advised 14 years ago on my basic chainsaw course not to, and have not suffered any problems from it.
  14. My first highlighted bit is because i am amazed at that! the second one is...........so what you are saying is that you dont actually own a really smart looking silver ranger at all, but a total dog of a car that looks good in the pics:lol:
  15. I have seen this done. Massive amounts of pinus radiata were cleared from the A30 last year and the contractor was chippingt into two bin lorries. Very high payload, and a massive opening into an enclosed spaced. An excellent idea if you have alot of chip to go any distance IMO.
  16. Bad luck. No need for it.
  17. Sounds like a blockage in the oiler system, most commonly in the tank (hook the rubber pipe out and check the pick up on the end and clean the tank out) or possibly the pump has packed up.
  18. Every time you treat us to more pics of these incredible trees I am amazed. Thanks again.
  19. I am saddened by the fact that there are people who find it acceptable to hijack and derail a thread where condolences to a family who have lost a young girl in such an abrupt way were all that there was room for. It is unproffessional, unsympathetic, degrading and completely in the wrong place. The place for the sort of blame culture debate is in its own thread. I hope that those who have made such incredibly misguided comments about the nature if the event and have used this thread to make personal, almost 'flameing' remarks about others dont suffer negative effects to their business, and feel able to reflect on how they have portrayed themselves, and will perhaps conduct themselves more appropriately and maturely in future postings on the forum.
  20. See it alot in sessiles.
  21. HAd a large oak limb like it that we removed in March. Had obviously been like it a while......TO had missed it from the ground.
  22. Reading this thread has made me realise how crap life must be for townies!!!!! And some of the answers make me understand how programs such as 'street wars' (or whatever) exist!!
  23. Very nice mate.
  24. Can we PLEASE keep this in mind.
