  3. Sorry to say that I was plastering a wall on friday, and we had no radio on and no watch, hands too filthy to pick up the phone and look. My mate said at about 11.05 oops what time is it?? We missed it. Jeremt Vine has always brought a tear to my eye.......

    Fair enough! )
  6. Glad to hear you are getting sorted. I have a harness but looks like you are covered for that anyway.
  7. OP is very hard wearing. I have just bought some Beeline after using OP and 8mm liros. I am liking it alot with yale blaze.

Nice, if short, vid. At 1.47 was it the camera angle or were you making hat top cut directly, under the rigging line? It looked a bit close....
  11. Those volcano pics were stunning. The second to last was absolutely amazing!
  12. Beautiful trees, good firewood and stunning timber, albeit a nightmare mill and dry successfully!
  13. The transit was a County conversion. there are quite a few kicking about here and there. I know of a handful in cornwall.
  14. Very impressive set of pics. Good job!
  15. Its a good job somebody in your firm is:lol:
  16. Yeah looking at it like that i see what you mean. I bought the blaze at a show ages ago for very little, and have only recently started using it as its a bit thin unless i wear gloves. Im not really a fan of it TBH but beeline works well on it.
  17. You know how cats rub their cheeks on things to mark them? She does that to those dogs! Even on their snouts etc. Its bizarre.
  18. If you manage to get over tomorrow morning bring that carb for the 880 Dave. I think they want to get the saw sorted ASAP.
  19. Haha good point- they are all lovely straight grained logs!!
  20. Is that the black 8mm liros you use Steve? I was using that on distel and VT hitches using yale blaze and scorch climbing lines and xtc for side lanyard with a distel and micro pulley. I found it bound up a bit especially when the ropes got wet or dirty. It was pretty stiff stuff too as you say. I am climbing on blaze with beeline at the moment and a VT and it seems to work ok most of the time, but due to my bad tying of the VT needs help to grip every now and then. BTW Since going over to beeline with the vt i have found it wants to rotate all the time meaning the braids dont bite effectively. I assume this is to do with the leg length being either a bit long or slightly uneven at the mo? (must retie tomorrow...)
  21. BTW was that big or giant........
  22. I reckon thats one of the better 'bodges' I have seen for log splitting!
  23. Betty Botter had some butter, "But," she said, "this butter's bitter. If I bake this bitter butter, It would make my batter bitter. But a bit of better butter, That would make my batter better." So she bought a bit of butter – Better than her bitter butter – And she baked it in her batter; And the batter was not bitter. So 'twas better Betty Botter Bought a bit of better butter.
  24. Well mark you need the guy who advertises down here...any tree felled, £2 per foot of height!!!!!
