  1. RIP , sorry to hear of your loss .
  2. So in other words they will almost tow as much as a landrover does legally ?
  3. excuse me which isle can i find the tin foil in ?
  4. yes it really is that simple
  5. The biggest problem it that often people do not get acurate valuations and mearly attach a price tag that they feel they would like to get back . im not totally sure but i believe that the calculation is something like assets + net proffit+ calculation for name and advertising etc + net value for all works currently booked to be carried out = value
  6. From my understanding the valuation of a business is based on the figures provided by your acountant , im not overly sure how a name is valued as its is dependent on the specifice of the name Ie - D&S tree services would in theory be worth far less than a name such as 1st for arb .
  7. i would not bother , i have one for a while and found it to be pretty rubbish . i would opt for a landy or hilux
  8. thoughts are with the family and the guys fellow workers . RIP
  9. Nice work , im always amazed by the carvings that are displayed on here , i would love to be able to carv , i have tried it but quickly came to the conclusion that im not any good at it what so ever
  10. Personally i would go for the tw190 but go for the turbo , parts are easily accessable and they are simple to service - chipper blades take no more than 15 mins to change and you will find that TW are more than willing to help out on advice over the phone . I had a non turbo 190 and i was more than hapy with it , i often kick myself for selling it .
  11. ha you worry about me ? had you never wondered why i will not ride shotgun in the mog ??? Now then this is not helping Daniels viewer ratings , lets get back to the matter in hand
  12. Ummm whats funny about it ? :confused1:come on mick feel the love
  13. Awwwww Daniel i thought we had something special going I was not questioning your skills X i was mearly saying that the tree clearly was not a strait forward fell . i guess somethings have to come to an end BTW what you wearing right now ?XXXXXX:001_smile:
  14. How can you say that the man is clearly a pro and makng advances to the envelope of Arboriculture
  15. no no tommer it would be in my interest to get one but its a choice ! either that or a live line rig
  16. Dadio you are like the god of tree work , infact i will go as far to say that the next job i get where i think i can get away with pulling off some sketchy fells i will give it a go , im sure if all goes wrong i can at least fall back on the knowledge that big D says its ok . I love you man .
  17. ahhhh maybe you could give wh bond a call , they have a 9" green mech safe track , having said that Vincent tractors may be able to help to .
  18. been doing some paperwork on the pluss side i have also been looking at some Valtra's
  19. either try Broad agri (if your really really in need ) or Dougy bennets in tavi . failing that i fear you will be peeing in the wind
  20. Awwwwww bless hm , i guess its that time of life
  21. Yeah i bet it would have some output , That chipper looks like a cracking bit of kit
  22. Dean how many tons of chip can that chipper produce an hour ?
  23. i will tyr to cheer you up - In the last 2 months i have had to spend just over 5k on replacing parts for my mog , yesterday was the first day having it back on the road ! so we get back to productive works and within 2 hours my ranger starts spewing out oil !!!!! and yes another 800 quid later i will have a new head gasket on the ranger and a new cambelt (that was only changed 2 months ago !!!!! Merry christmas
