Got loads of free t-shirts and hats, met some cool people, was fun ... but my propshaft uj went bang on my landy on the way home so the aa gave me a lift
  9. i totally agree with agg221, thats one of the problems with running older saws, part avalibilty! I love using my 166, but it is a pretty rare saw so i dont really want to wear it out! Havent looked but i bet a pot and piston would be a hell of a lot! we use an 070AV, a 153 and a 166 with 3ft and 4ft bars, for splitting down oak butts to fit on the band saw, its amazing really what you can do with a 3ft bar not meaning to derail the thread too much but take a look at these thread of what me and grandad can do with slightly smaller bars http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/picture-forum/20893-bigs-saws-oak-butts.html http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/picture-forum/13864-bring-out-big-saws.html http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/picture-forum/14752-dolmar-workout.html http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/picture-forum/23029-oak-tree-climbing-felling-clear-up.html http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/picture-forum/15823-oak-milling-sachs-dolmar-166-a.html
