  18. Anyone know the best place to buy or get hold of some steel mesh, see as i have now started my agricultural engineering course, i will be learning to weld Very very very soon, i want to start to forestry guard my Leyland 270, i want to get hold of some mesh and knock up some removeable window guards for a start. So where could i get some of the mesh from? Also what would be the best sort and size? inch by inch squares in the mesh, bigger? smaller? Thanks in advance
  19. Yep thats right im back to college for another year, or maybe two havent decided if i want to stay on for both yet. Having already done a National Diploma in Forestry & Arboriculture (which as a bonus gave me First Aid at Work, CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, PA1 and PA6, all for free which was sweet ) I am now doing an Agricultural Engineering course, its the same level as the ND but its called somthing else as its now run by a differnt examing group or somthing. What is even better is that, as i explained to my tutor on the interview, i do not intend to do anything with agriculture i life (but i could if needs be haha) so he is going to try to get me working on some of the forestry kit (the very small amount of forestry kit that is) that the college has when possible, which is sooo good of him! But it seems pretty sweet, had my week there this week, only doing 2 and half days a week, so i still get chance to work which is good. So all is going well, now i can learn to keep all our old kitting running for years to come

  22. haha i was was thinking the same, would like a bit of that, lob it all on a few pallets
  23. that sucks man thats a thor splitter is it not? we have a horizontal one and often when we have the cross splitting head on and splitting knotty pieces, they can fly straight up at some speed, never wanted to get hit by it
