  5. i've already got one
  6. yep its a standard bumper with a mounting plate on top, didnt want to spend loads of money on a new bumper yep the winch has a remote control and a handset/cable that plugs into the winch itself
  7. Found these pics on the laptop, did all these willow pollards a while back, such a sweet job, for a very large dairy farm that we do all the fencing for, not only is it an organic dairy, they are also really into all the grant schemes... planting hedges, woodlands all that stuff, really nice place to work, the best part about the job was no clearing up, just knock it all out and the farm workers were going to cut the firewood out for themselves and burn the brash with the loader its amazing how much these have grown since like january
  8. i was waiting for that what about those 5 and 10mph limits in car parks and what not im sure if i had a run up i could get close to speeding!
  9. ahahahahaa! we were winching some trees over in the wood, hardly any room in there so did it from outside the wood, just fed the cable over the fence and to the tree haha ok that is very true, but is your towbar remote controlled? no need to keep getting in and out of the landy to pull stuff, and actually it wasnt loads of money very cheap for a winch that size
  10. ahhh i see, thank you very much, didnt realise it would be that simple, thought i would need to get new plastic covers and stuff
  11. having not long passed my test, i am not like most of the other lads my age on the road, going as fast as you can blasting out really loud "chavy" tunes, i really dont want to get points or even loose my lisence, i spent all that money getting it why waste it? So therefore i dont speed, but i do think speed cameras, esspecially the moblie ones are such a waste of money and human resoruces those guys in the speed camera van could be doing somthing so much more productive...
  12. hahaa i know it would be sweeet! i really do need to stop spending all my money on big saws and start saving for a climbing kit lol
  13. I have seen loads of pictures (like the ones below) of dolmar 166's with K&N Air Filters, anyone know where i can get this set up to fit on mine? (new or old i ent fussed)
  14. I highly recommend getting a winch for your landys I bought one just before i passed my test thinking i may be able to get some work out of it, do abit of offroading and it'll make it look cooool I have used my winch loads way more than expected, im so glad i got one. I have used it to pull trees over, pull timber out of the wood, roll big logs in the wood yard, move logs towards the splitter/sawbench, it is such a versatile bit of kit. Found a big old snatch block in the shed saves spending £50ish on one, so thats going to live with it from now on
  15. hmm maybe i should get one for my 166 how much are they? haha i doubt my bank balance would pay for one
  16. we use older kit but lots of it, all of it gets regular use
  17. very niceee what a great pressy! bet hes chuffed here was my present a year or so ago
  18. thats sweet! i would have loved to work for your company when i was 14
  19. tricky bit on a stretch of stock fencing round a wood boundry, was akward to get the tractor in to knock the stakes in, but looks alrighttt
  20. got a ammo style wooden box that fits nicely in the back of the landy for a tenner, going to bolt it down soon and its got a lock on it so kit always stays in there. Kit thats in there is: Stihl MS361, logging belt, felling lever, loads of wedges, 2 stroke oil, wd40, socket set, screw drivers and loads of other tools, files ect. just general stuff like that, then the combi can, jerry can and oil fits behind the box, although i do have the jerry can mounted on the side in the back now, ontop of the wheel arch.
  21. Just before i came to canada, milled up some ash for a friend, was really nice milling up in the wood, nice drive down through the wood in the landy havent used the alaskan as much as i should, but its getting some use hes got some more for me to do so thats cool
  22. Thought i posted these pics, but i guess i didnt haha Milling a while back and this is the longest log we've had on our mill, about 20ft 4"
