  9. We all have different leaning styles, I get the misses to quiz me and i,m also collecting leaf, twigs and fruit/seed from trees, shrubs and climbers. i also do the smae with fungi and friuting bodies. Id them at work or at home... It takes time and My latin is still poor my spelling is really poor and always will be so don't worry about as there easy enough to look up in a good ID book (collins one with black cover a nice one) any really tough ones post them on here and you'll get plenty of opinions. Although a large section silpped the rigging missed the shed by inches and buried itself in the lawn, lifted the shed and couple of inches too.... The rest of the job was incident free... I thought a pair of Y-Fronts or a thong caved into the crouch would have been a nicer touch...
  14. In my opioin when it comes to a emergency rescue you use all that around you... I worked with a guy who got a his groundie to lower off his casultly off with the lowering rig that was being used at the time as it was there. think i would do the same. good to have a plan before the S*** hits the fan though.....

  16. No work, no pay, the life of a freelance climber. If you have a difference of opionion on is it safe to work can get complicated. I agree if you cear up these issues at the start no problems down the line. If the client is willing to give you wet weather works or a retainer then you can pass that on to your subbies if not then thats life....

  20. I thought It was a vaild post, Recomendatios have kept me in a job for the last 15 years. I'd rather shop a place that fellow workers have reccomedeed than get screwed by a bunch of grass cutters with no knowledge and a load of old kit that they need to get shut of. I agree if you don't think a posts worth answering then don't. To many self important know it alls in this world as it is... Honey Bros have a great delivery service with free returns and they arrange collection of goods. Any kit specific reccomedations fire away....

So its worth asking
