  1. Word of mouth is best but advertising is necessary, and flyers have got me more work than YELL did and for a fraction of the cost too. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. As has been said many times a motocross engine would be perfect 250cc 2 stroke or a 500 if you could find one. Water cooled would be fine they'll survive on one rad to save some weight. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Before taking it apart there is a small plug in component which can also stop it charging who h you should swap out first. I. A not remember what it's called but it has 3 wires going to it and when it's broken it won't charge, was a problem I had on my old chipper which had the same engine. I'll have a look a d try to get a picture of the same part on my stump grinder tomorrow WM Tree Services http://www.bestkenttreesurgeons.co.uk

  8. That is brutal! My L200 on big 265 all terrains is still getting up to 450 from £90.00 worth Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Is that after taking a wage for yourself? If not that's low.
  10. employ the people you need/ want to get the jobs done fast for what they are worth then price jobs to suit your team....that's how I look at it anyway rather than a set profit per head.
  11. First post is nigh in correct capital investment allowances, the best part for me is you lose the tax but it doesn't damage your net profit which is what mortgage lenders look at.
  12. Maybe a 1500 ? My 2500 cummins had a train weight of just over 7.5 leaving room for a 4.5t trailer to be towed legally! They're rated to tow 18000lbs in the states and 8800 if toss for the truck.

    L200 advice

It's all calculated on emissions as far as i know. I presume your ranger isn't as clean, not so surprising as fords injection has always been a few steps behind the rest. There's no claiming involved that's just what it costs to tax
  14. Might it be easier to just get BFG ATs or MTs they will last for ages and there's no doubts about their strength or durability they also roll way better than other MTs
  15. E last late 190 I worked with certainly didn't, grill was permanently clogged with rubbish.
  16. If you genuinely believe that small difference in ambient temperature would be enough to adversely affect the cooling system how do you suppose these machines work in hot country's ?
  17. In my experience just the brush burns, last year I topped a long stretch that had been burned was a filthy job, god knows why they didn't have them down
  18. The fan on my Vermeer blows rather than sucks so the rad doesn't get clogged :-)
  19. 2 men £300 per day, assuming the tractor you mention is Supplied by client time depends on how mental your willing/ allowed to make the fire.
  20. Took down the poplar which is now a stump on the right above. Crown lifted and removed some epicormic from this oak and removed lots of overhanging branches from some others over the pond.... Which were retrieved by boat! Was bloody cold!
  21. Yes its absolutely disgusting, the age thresholds are very annoying, I saved over £500 including 2x cancellation fees by cancelling and re starting the policies on my trucks on my 25th birthday. Also it's a right pain that Aviva won't mirror my no claims due to having more than myself and my partner named even though the vehicle I want them mirrored two has the exact same set of drivers as the one with the NCB on it, makes no sense to me.

    L200 advice

eBay, private seller the only way Imo. dealers are just a waste of your money with your budget I wouldn't even look at the old trucks they struggle to get 25MPG from normal driving. Mine will do up to 40 if there's a lot of motorway involved and averages about 30 quoting locally and towing my ifor or chipper (3.5t & 1.7) as diesel is one of my biggest out goings the much improved fuel economy was the main factor in choosing to buy a newer truck over one of the older gas guzzlers. Also it's only £135 to tax for the year being Euro 4.
  23. My previous landy was a special vehicles division factory tipper, so completely stock in tipping form.
