3.
IS this Mr Ben Healey?

4. Ive came into the uk 6 yrs ago and went through all the tickets i told i would need to cut and climb, was told by the assessors i didnt need 40,41.I worked for various company's,councils, sub contracted etc.. and still haven't needed them, and have hardly met anyone who has had them and the few they did i don't know how they actually obtained them. My two cents.
5. Try treesplus ltd in perth, should find their number online, might be looking for a hand.
6. All the guys i worked with in Sweden had airstreams and feet got colder quicker then the zermatts, think the zermatts will be to warm in summer
7. Plenty of company's will sponsor but to be honest if your under 30 you can get a two year work visa and pick and choose when you get there who to work for, plenty of company's around.Just remember grass isn't always greener but it's all good experience!
8. Got some pfanner Zermatt's couple of months ago and love them,Worn them in the snow everyday in Sweden and are water tight, very comfortable, they look quite bulky but had no problems climbing in them everyday with and without spikes,Best boots ive had by far, will not buy any others if they keep producing these.

10. Nptc certs do not make you qualified that's for sure, like someone said above a box ticking exercise.I was studying on the job back in NZ unfortunately came across to Britian just before i could finish, sure ill be able to sort it when i get back.I think it's the best way ive seen to learn.I have a basic sound knowledge, enough to keep customers and employers/contractors happy, don't hurt my self or others, like to keep up with latest practices and methods take pride in my work, can't really ask more then that.

Yeah more access line,i had a little climb on some Tb patron for a couple of prunes and like the feel of it,I understand the normal arb ropes have a little give for falls etc..but im pretty safe don't do anything to crazy so thought it would be safe enough if guys are climbing it on srt.

Have a zigzag on its way and am currently looking for a new rope for it,does the zigzag work with static rope? Can you climb double rope on a static?if not why?I understand it's stiffer but is there anything to say i can't use it? I Have a perfectly good 13mm rope but am thinking it won't run as nice on it,but to be honest ive spent way to much lately and can't really fork out another £100 plus for another rope.Ideas? Is there a cheaper rope option? Thanks in advance. Paul.
16. Congratulations,Is it fail-able?
17. Yip i escaped the winter by getting work in Sweden! An even harsher winter! Doh...
18. DO they have a website?im looking for one but everyones out of stock?
19. Think it was just the first batch of them, all the guys where im working use them all day no problems,I worked for a place that brought about 5 new when they came out and all had problems with starting/getting started etc..but the newer ones seem to be fine.
20. Yeah mate have an old pair of bashlin's in pretty good condition, obviously used but still do the job. Im back from Sweden next week so if your keen could organize something, saves me putting them on ebay, should be able to take a couple of pic's before purchase if necessary. Paul.
21. Have had these conditions for quite a while now in Sweden!
22. Amazing cycle race mate, ive read it happens to alot of runners and riders etc.. I got some hew gaffs a few months back and seem to be very good, unfortunately the contract im on is pretty much all take downs, wether it be dismantle winch or fell so pretty much need them on for 99 percent of work. Rest sounds nice but in reality can't happen at the moment, and i hear you about the pain it first started playing rugby then went on to every time i ran almost crippling when it comes on and now has got into my work so will have to seriously get it sorted!.
23. Yeah mate i did and replied,I have been using a roller hurts like hell!
24. Thanks mate but think that is more for the sciatica. Ive done the required stretches from the physio but am defiantly taking all other ideas.
25. Anyone had this? I was diagnosed a while back and have had physio, acupuncture and done some stretches i have found online but doesn't seem to be getting better,if anything getting worse. Originally was from running but am finding it's affecting me when i'm on my gaffs for to long and walking up and down steep ground. Anyone got any help, experience or ideas?. Thanks Paul. Posted this in the employment section by mistake so have re posted it here for hopefully more responses.
