  1. I had a week job with the FC up here in Scotland and the dude barely even looked at my tickets,took some photos and that was that.And all my tickets were done around 2007/2008.

  3. Im In Scotland but could have a job coming up in Sweden,i will be happy to pay for postage etc..or just as easily pick them up,happy to drive. Ive seen spuds name come up a bit regarding good saws does he sell seconds?
  4. There was about 4 or 5 i worked with back in NZ in my old company,all half decent workers/climbers etc..

Alright guys i could be after a couple of saws of around 50-70cc range at the start of next month if i get a job coming my way .To start up i can't afford to buy new and am after some second hand ones.Where would be the best place to look?Ive been watching ebay a bit,but would rather get saws off people in the industry who know what they are talking about and are honest. Any help would be great thanks. Pegards Paul

  13. Ok cheers man,im starting out just for access then going into drt for work,i just want a system that helps me get up easier on larger trees,unicender looks good,but no way the wife/boss would let me purchase that with little work coming in.thanks for the help.
  14. Please explain to me how i cant work a system from a ascender, pantin footstrop etc.. for access?im after ideas how i can make it work,im not sure if thats cutting corners?
  15. Cheers for the pics,thats similar to what i had setup but just didnt feel or look convetional.do you sit back in it in between ascent or does it keep you standing in the system?
  16. No im not stupid i had that on,i tried a hitch above the ascender and conventional one off my main ring and different variations but just felt like a normal drt setup with a ascender above and just didn't really work couldn't get it going.

Right I need some help and have brought some basic kit but can't sus it out.I brought a rope/pantin/ascender and foot cord to start but couldn't sus it out and am guessing i need to get a chest strap and croll to keep me next to the line?i tried various other things off my main ring but nothing really worked. I cant afford to buy a RW OR HH so at the moment not looking down that route at the moment.I have looked at you tube,pics and links off this site but cant find anything basic that helps me. Any help advice would be greatly appreciated Regards Paul.
  18. Yeah hes got some crazy stuff for sale,the meat slicer looks ok,i don't think the rope would be any good for much except pulling trees over by hand,would snap pretty easy,on the plus side easy to splice back together!
