    Littering

    Awareness of or conscience about?
  2. Wow. That's extraordinary
  3. 😂 I'm sure she'll see it that way. Really 🤥
  4. Stop messing about Steve - tell us what you think! I wonder what Vlad's new best mate Xi Jinping is thinking now... apart from 'I need to be more careful about choosing my friends'!
  5. It does make perfect sense; I'm sure ours - sorry, Hers - will be the same. Cheers
  6. Ah - that may be the case. Not my car and no such thing was mentioned to Her Maj by the dealership. I'll have to follow her one day and we'll find out (when I drive into the back of her with an overloaded Navara and 2-ton trailer 😂)
  7. I'm waiting for someone to pile into the back of the wife's shiny new EV as it rapidly slows with no brake lights showing: KERS is awesome!
  8. I was told yesterday that this is a bad analogy but it works for me. The West has been cosying up to Ukraine for a while: how would the US behave if Russia had been behaving likewise to Mexico? OK 'the enemy' isn't the next country beyond Mexico as is the case with Ukraine but that buffer word returns to mind. Not that I want to appear a Putin apologist or sympathiser (too much!); I've said before that I see him as a grubby little psycopath. He wants go down in history as an empire builder. Little man, big big ego

    Jokes???

Or is the 'I don't get it' in response to a blank post?
  10. Whooper sists with puns like this? If you don't like Stubby's rantings just hit the Mute button Don't worry, I know where my coat is...
  11. Right; the niger feeder's getting hot washed and refillled with new seed! Bullfinches; we used to see a pair about three times a year at the old place in Caterham and we've seen a cock bird twice down here in Sussex. I've never seen more than a matched pair at the same time; fifty birds - what a sight and sound; I envy you the experience I'll come back with a result to my niger endeavours; thanks
  12. You sod! We're looking to re-clad our boarded small house in East Sussex soon (once all the bat surveys and mitigation are arranged 🙄) I thought plans were laid with Cedral or similar. Now you mention this and Copford mill is less than 2 miles away... I may now have to re-think 😂
  13. @Treerover What birds do you get taking niger? I've always left a few out but nothing has ever been interested except siskin and we haven't seen those in way too many years. Even the goldfinches don't touch them but maybe, just maybe, I need to try a fresh batch as we do have goldies here Jon
  14. Or leave it alone. You call that a lean?!
  15. But they managed! It was comical watching the Great and Blue Tits hold on to near horizontal feeders but nothing was going to stop them getting their daily dose of sunflower heart
  16. Nope. Not a parasite at all. It merely uses a tree as a substrate. Mistletoe is a parasite
  17. Understood. I was indeed taught it on the first CS31 I did; it's just that it wasn't mooted as the big deal it should be except since that day and both times by foresters!
  18. Must be a forestry thing: when I did my CS31 refresher a few years ago the forestry based instructor was almost paranoid about it

  20. That does look ace. I shall try to find an excuse to build a small version somewhere one day. What a great living wall it will become

Confucius he say 'man who has sexual problem wakes up in morning with solution in hand'
  22. Not the obvious answer of oak then...
  23. Pic 1; lovely winter context with the snowdrops 👍
  24. ..and make it a snug fit with the card, not a loose one; makes a difference to performance
