  1. Hedge cutting today and working in tight spaces with top handle and also down wind from Gloria the chipper:sneaky2: I've felt nauseous since 3 pm, drowsy and tight across the chest:thumbdown: Enough enough, it's Aspen time. I looked on Justin's site and I see there's 4 stroke fuel aswell. Thoughts and input please from users who have made the change. Ps I'm not bothered about cost, I've been working with machines now since I was 15 and sat working a log splitter and down wind from my old man logging since a kid, I'm 38 now and spend most of my time feeling done in:thumbdown:
  2. You looked after him until the end, he went peacefully. Rip Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. An optional extended axle with bigger wheels and longer drawbar would be good Pete for towing it about with a machine or garden tractor Pete. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Micro Chippers are so easy to manoeuvre I would keep it self propelled. If need be you could just stick it on the forks and carry it to awkward places if need be. It would save racking up hours on the loader and it's not tied up chipping when it could be doing its lifting and gofer duties. Just my 2pence:) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  6. Really enjoyed that, I've been there for a 2 days, I never knew there were redwoods there at the time. Brilliant video and the guys seemed to have a good laugh. It makes me want to go for a rec climb. ' he said Balls!' Priceless:lol:
  7. Cats are just hard, full stop! They let you pet them, they let you feed them, they are always in charge. I remember seeing 1 lie down on the road in Drumchapel having a little sunbathe, the local hard looking dogs had to be dragged past it and the bus even stopped, it finished cleaning its back leg and then just lay back down! Proper hard!! I hope the dog and owner have been caught punished for the attack on the little boy, totally unprovoked! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  9. I was there is 99. Everything was dirt cheap, especially outdoor clothing. I brought an 019t back in my rucksack. £120 it cost, was £400 back home. $3.2 dollars to the £ helped . Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  10. Ha ha, less shame in going to jail! Only kidding, good for you mate, a jobs a job, needs must. It took me 3 years shovelling coal and cutting grass from getting my felling ticket to getting a job as a trainee climber. By that time I was in charge if the grass cutting squad, I took a pay cut and went for the job, 6 months later I started myself, that's over 15 years ago now. Do the job you love, break free from Mickey Dee!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
