  1. I'd take this as a warming and look elsewhere, plenty of pto Chippers about, if you know where to look, and if say buy from a dealer. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. Stick an add in the wanted section of the Arbtrader please. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. I imagine distance could be a factor. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. I would ask the dealer what is covered, agree to choose an independent repair company who is closest, and get a report done. If the fault is on the list of things that are covered, Dealer pays, if not, customer pays. It's a stump grinder, I don't own 1 for these very reasons, especially ones with electrics. The problem I feel is the negotiating between the 2 parties. 1 says fix it for free, the other says no. There's a lot more room either way imo. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. Unless you had someone look it over or know the seller it wouldn't be me, fingers crossed it's ok. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. I have edited this thread due to the No Naming and Shaming Policy, Please keep within the rules. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. I feel your life has thrown other stresses at you and you are focusing the blame on this dealership. To have £20k of work and a team of men reliant on 1 truck is not ideal, if I were subbing you on a large job I'd need to know you can handle it, an excuse of a stump grinder stuck on a pickup would not be a relevant excuse for me not to get someone else and chase you for my losses. The fault is in parts I wouldn't think are covered and I wouldn't expect a company to send a technician to a diferent country free of charge when already you have admitted a 90% improvement on a flick of a switch. 10. Make up a trailer and have the drawbar telescopic with a pin, if some sticks need a bit more manoeuvring, extend the trailer .
  11. Pallet forks then:laugh1:
  12. Big green ones, small green ones and that 1 over there has always served me well:) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. I wouldn't pallet fork them, if they are in bags, use a small strop and lift them on. A dumpy bag of dry logs is closer to 250kg Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Brilliant, surely your going to shift the controls !! Mine were mounted facing the rear of the cab, I just loaded the 1 side. You will extract so quickly with that unit, if I ever get a reason to have another I will. Look forward to future pics:) Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  22. There was a really good and pretty cheap extension hydraulic saw on here a while back for machines. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. If it's says Turbo, buy it!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. No 1 machine is perfect, and the way I look at it is compared to man power. Maybe a mini digger and flail will be rubbish in the eyes of a road sude verge guy, but any things better than a day hacking away with strimmers and hedge cutters and a week of picking thorns out your fingers and arms! If I buy a £3k flail, it will either last me 10 years or pay for itself, make me money and I'll renew it every few years. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. That's cracking Tom!! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
