    Moto GP

He's back! Impressive riding by all but The Doctor was sheer class. Crutchlow's inexperience showed but hopefully he'll improve.
  2. I'm feeling the same but I do still work my spaniel. He flushed two 'cock and a pair of teal yesterday walking by the river. Not seen any ducklings yet. Must be early down south:001_smile: Still got some snow lying here.

I think Marquez will be the one to watch as the season progresses. I think he'll be flying as his bike is sorted out. I'll be cheering Rossi on though:001_smile:
  4. Just a couple of old pics I've found in a local archive The horse team was a local family and the tractor was built by Fryer's Uttoxeter.
  5. 79p per litre from the pump.

    Any takers?

Don't be too impressed. I had an idea but had to confirm:001_smile:

    Colettia paradoxa
  8. Devolution eh! Are they using the general definition of a hedge or is there a definition they will use?

    Overloaded

Possibly within its limits but a good load
  10. I had the Chevy badged one. Good truck but NFU wouldn't insure it as it's an import.
  11. Errr......sorry. I thought this was the fridge.
  12. I was told that outboard oils contain something that reduces plug fouling as they're usually held on a steady throttle for extended periods. Other engines are usually up and down the rev range. As for the original post; use his fuel :-)
  13. Woodland Trust 26th March Woodland Trust Media Centre - Rising from the ashes - reaction to Ash Dieback Management Plan 26/03/13
  14. Good pics. He's about bang on time. Third week in March is when they start to arrive. Usually about the 25th up here and the earliest swallow I've seen here is 4th April. Usually hear them first.
  15. I had 20 ton of sweet chestnut cord dropped off at home once. Never again. Hung on to every last drop of water.
  16. I must be lucky. Mine is totally entranced by things I point out. From tiny hazel flowers to mighty oaks.

    Snow lion

Looking again it's a baboon behind a polar bear.
  18. Cheap it ain't. I used to tow mine to the coast. 280 mile round trip @ 15- 20 mpg. Fuel for the boat @ 5 gph. Start at 3am, off the water at 8pm. Totally knackered and fit for nothing next day:001_smile:

    Snow lion

A drift in Staffs. Fed up now:001_smile:
  20. I used to have one. I was really into tope fishing off Wales. What seemed like a good idea turned into a millstone. Towing, launching, fuel. Mates that jumped aboard but forgot how much it cost to run. Never again. Stick to charters now.
  21. Possibly. It's common in the Severn valley from Worcester downstream and seemingly rare upstream. It's appeared now in pops in the Ironbridge area and well established. The Severn Gorge's climate is affected by the power station which is why my thoughts were going along the micro-climate route.
