  1. An ex girlfriend of mine does them. High quality and a superb artist. http://www.suestickley.co.uk/

    Ticks!

I used to get them regularly in France. Body search each day in all the usual places but even had them between my fingers. Hate the little bleeders.
  3. They lay their eggs now so any about woodchip piles or compost are probably looking at egg laying sites. I once supplied a load of woodchip for a wildlife exhibtion in a shopping mall which included a batch of eggs I hadn't spotted. They hatched inside the mall and created havoc. The young ones are perfectly formed six inch replicas of their parents. Beautiful little things.
  4. Maybe worth having a good woodchip pile for breeding. We had 100s two years ago hatching out of woodchip piles.
  5. That's a grass snake. Not sure whether it's a toad or frog but looks more toad like. Maybe the toad's excretions don't put off snakes like they do with dogs. An old dog of mine used to pick up toads and end up with a mouth full of froth:001_smile:

    Sugi Hara

Doesn't look like abuse to me. Like OP said it looks more like burnt sap etc. The old Duromatic bars used to chip occasionally on the big Stihls and I guess that was because of their hardness.
  7. Anyone seen this in a Southend cemetery.
  8. [Home] - Arborist Equipment & Forestry Kit - Stafford West Midlands Oregon Arborol Bio Chain Oil 25Ltr - £40.00 - Oils - Arborist Equipment & Forestry Kit - Stafford West Midlands From my local dealer. Not sure if the links will work but £36 for 25 litres and special offer on Oregon £40 for 25 litres.
  9. It's a good one but not as good as this classic: Update: Possibly the best Ebay auction ever ad pulled. Screenshots of the auction added.
  10. As you're cutting keep an eye open for any change in chip colour. If I suspect anything this has saved me many a time.
  11. Diesel Bob Tuning - Injection Pumps
  12. Well it's not illegal. I only wear type A anyway but I think if the weather's hot then you can wear A types to reduce fatigue/heatstroke.
  13. Answers to the name of Lucky:001_smile: Sorry. It just reminded me of that old joke. Can't match that but have an idea how you feel at times with my broken vertabrae, wrist, finger and general wear. To the original poster; get well.
  14. Lesser Stag beetle larvae possibly but something else has killed it. Honey fungus?
  15. Spoken to my local dealer this morning and they've heard nothing about this 'new policy'. They've been a Stihl dealer for about 40 years.
  16. Had one for ten years. Good machine and will do all the stumps you need to.
  17. When checking the colour of the plug on the bike after jet changing I run the bike hard, hit the kill switch, pull clutch and coast to a halt. Possibly have to do something similar on a saw to get a true colour. Apart from that the colour looks ok to me.
  18. I have an interest in landscape history so spend a little time looking at looking at local historical photos. This one just jolted my memory. Have an oak to look up also as an old photo shows some children sitting in it after being pollarded in the 30s.
